Great Vintage Theater

The Weinberg hosts many different stage performances and even a summer series of movies. It's always a pleasure to attend a showing or event here.

This nicely restored theater is a good place to see performers - not a huge stadium or a tiny place, just right. Good downtown location, near 2 parking garages. My reservations were handled flawlessly, the staff there is helpful, the acoustics good, the sightlines good. Biggest complaint: too few restrooms. They have a nice line up of acts. We were... More

We've seen many shows at the Weinberg. It's beautiful inside. No matter where you sit you can see and hear the show. Very intimate setting for concerts.

The Weinberg Center for the Arts is a small venue, but that is its charm. Having seen the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra play was such a different perspective here. I have seen them play at much larger venues but his one you could actually see the expressions on the lead violinists face.

Great space to watch movies and performances, this historic theater is no modern multi-plex and that is a good thing! Keep your eye on their calendar for national musicians and performer as well as film festivals and local music events.

Many wonderful shows to see. The acoustics are not wonderful (not as good as the nearby Maryland Theater in Hagerstown or the Magestic in Gettysburg), but not too bad. The Weinberg has a great variety of talent coming through year after year. Check the website for occasional half-price deals. Plus they have a thursday evening series for new artists that... More

During my walk at the Historic Center, I saw a couple coming out of this Theater who informed me that it is opened. Yes it is opened to sell tickets for the shows, but these shows do not start until October 2015. I asked if I could take a look inside which one of the employees gladly agreed to do... More

We were there recently with friends to see a humorist and I thought we would laugh until we cried. It was a very pleasant evening and the theater is absolutely beautiful. I will say that the AC had a few issues that night however the show was wonderful. I would definitely go back.

This historic theatre in downtown Frederick offers up a wide range of events. I recently went with a friend to see a live comedian, Rocky LaPorte. No clue who this guy was, but we went for the same reason everyone else did, we wanted to laugh. Laugh we did. There were two opening acts before the main comedian. They were... More

This is a beautifully restored theater for the performing arts located in the middle of downtown Frederick. Plenty of easy parking close to the venue. Lots of shopping and restaurants within walking distance. I would definitely see another performance in this location. (I saw Golden Acrobats of China which was A++++). Ticket prices vary for every performance but I am... More
