Absolutely incredible amount of rolling stock and pictures, old documents and such. Employees very enthusiastic about Railroading and History, especially of the Harvey House!

This is an awesome museum at the railroad station. You have plenty to see and talk to the staff who had so much additional information to speak about. This really is a perfect place to spend an hour or so just looking at the history of the railroads in America.

limited hours, free roadside attraction, interesting displays, good information. had a nice little gift shop w/ souvenirs. It is inside an old Harvey House Hotel which holds the Barstow Chamber of Commerce, as well as a Route 66 museum, etc.

I am. It was lots of fun seeing the old train engines, cars & specialty rail maintenance equipment. Our nephew was at BNSF doing his internship, so this visit was educational as well as enjoyable.

We visited the Route 66 museum next door then we walked over to WARM, my son was looking at all the small trains especially the little train set they have in the lobby. After looking around the museum we walked over into the parking lot and climbed on a few of the engines out there and took a bunch of... More

I am not a railway enthusiast but nevertheless enjoyed the museum very much. Inside were displays of all old railway stuff and outside were old locomotives and carriages and boxcars. They are HUGE. The staff were friendly and helpful.

There is a lot packed away into a small area. A very nice model railroad layout to interest small and large kids alike. A nice collection of track vehicles. An extensive collection of communication equipment and dated tie spikes. Out side there are a few classic railroad cars and diesel locomotives.
