Been a frequent customer for many many years.... I've seen some behaviors that resemble that of Mafia mentality!!! Please tell me there is somewhere else to go where you will be considered a valuable human being besides Johnny's...They encourage full blown Cigarette smoking but threaten to "Throw You Out" for puffing on a Cigarillo....Perhaps someone should "SUE them when they... I am not going to waste the time to write another full review in case it gets deleted again. But I will say this place is great if you want to pay a high price for cheap drinks with little to no alcohol. Believe me, it's also a great place if you don't like a good atmosphere in a bar,... More

Everyone warned me to "beware the seniors". It was fun and as the night wore on the age level went down :) Dancing was fun - bartenders were fast and accurate. We found a table, danced the night away and left late.

The name is perfect. It is definitely a hideaway and you might not want folks to know you came, but you will be glad you did. Very crowded on the weekend, but if you come a little early and have 4 people in a group you can get a table and drink|dance the night away.

We always to to Johnnys when we come to Atlanta. It is great for all ages. The music starts with 50s and 60s and moves on up thru the decades as the evening progresses. so as you might expect older people come early and younger later. If you are not there by 10 you will probably have to wait in... More

This place is listed as good music for 40+ crowd. It does get really busy after 8 and half of it seemed like a pick up spot for singles to meet and the other half were a little younger crowd. Music was great, drinks were, service was excellent and we would definitely go back.

A night dancing to the fun music over many decades is a nice concept, especially when there is such a diverse age range for the patrons. Johnny’s really tries to make everything work. It comes close but I’m not sure if the overall experience calls for a rave review. My wife and I visited Johnny’s around 11 last Saturday to... More

Poor DJ's, restrictive bouncers, un-partylike attitudes, and obvious management racism. 'Nuff said. Please do not order food. The waitresses act as though they are doing you a favor to take your order. You may notice that none of the employees are smiling. Of course this does not add to your good time. I guess the management must not be fun... More

I attended a birthday party here and the music was great. They played a variety from the 70's and up. The ages ranged from 20-70's and very diverse. I enjoyed the crowd and the music. However the waitress was trying to force each table to give a card because a tab was required. That was an instant turnoff because we... More

Johnny's is a very fun place. We have been twice and only on Saturday nights. It is a dance club playing everything from 50's/60's up to almost modern day "classic" dance tunes. I would classify the dance music as "mainstream", for lack of a better term. If you're looking for techno or rave or other "thumping" dance music, this is... More
