The Masquerade is a pretty unique place. Beginning with that there are different rooms: heaven, hell and purgatory. The concert we went to was in purgatory. It was a descent sized room for a small concert and looked quite old. The power actually went completely out halfway through the show, but was fixed right away which was good! It was... More

I went to see Blind Guardian this last weekend and the place left a good impression. My first concern was about parking, but there was a huge lot with plenty of space on the back of the house for 5 bucks. Sound was good and because it is a small place, you are always close to the stage. Overall concert... More

This review is for the Moms and Dads. Took my teen daughter to see her favorite band on a Wednesday night. It was actually 5 bands and it lasted about 5.5 hours. They had removed all of the chairs based on the size of the crowd they were expecting. Could have used a place to sit but understandably the fans... More

The inside of this place looks like a decrepit mansion. At a show I felt as if the floors were going to cave in. The show I went to in the back was pretty fun and we had a great time. Fun place with a lot of character but on the whole not the best venue in Atlanta

Venue is awesome, very interesting setup and drinks are really strong here. I would definitely return to another event here.

This isn't your typical concert venue - the place is falling apart, people are tightly packed together, and there's no convenient way to get to it. That being said, this place definitely appeals to the punk spirit and is intimate in a somewhat disorganized sense. Bands known for spirited performances shine here, as the venue simply highlights their energy. Definitely... More

Visited the Masquerade for the Atlanta summer beer fest this past weekend. Really enjoyed the location and the different local brewers there. Good music from the stage and did not seem very crowded despite there being big crowds. Look forward to the next brew fest there!

We went for the late night Shaky Knees Festival, our first visit & the staff seemed pretty disorganized. We got inside for our show in the HELL stage, went to order beer & after waiting in line was told we had to go back outside for arm bands (WHICH NO ONE WAS OUT GIVING ARM BANDS WHEN WE ENTERED WITH... It was fine. Nothing special. It's a cool old building with three stages, Heaven, Hell, and Purgatory. Purgatory is the smallest, it might hold a couple hundred people. We saw a show in Heaven, it held several hundred. The beer was ice cold but the wine was room temp and not at all good, it was about $12 for a... More

The venue was a good venue it was just that the management did not know what was going on. Had VIP meet and greet tickets and nobody knew what was going on. Had to wait until after the show to finally get to meet the band
