of how many shows I have seen here since the mid 1990s. I drove over for concerts when I was at Ole Miss. I drove up from Fort Benning. I drove down from Fort Campbell. I've seen long nights of anonymous punk and hardcore acts, been to 1940s Swing Dancing Night downstairs, seen Lords of Acid, Nighwish twice, and am... More

Awesome line-up of artists! Great venue! This was a two-day outdoor festival. Lots of staff who made it a good experience. Food and drinks available at cost and free water filling stations! VIP tickets were worth it just for the bathrooms! Air-conditioned tents were perfect for the weather too!

I recently took my daughter to a concert there. The building is so unique. The only complaint I have is, show time on the ticket is actually when the doors open. You should call to see when a show is really going to start, otherwise you will be standing there for a while.

I went to the Lindsey Stirling concert on July 1, 2014, so needless to say, it was very very hot outside. I went with some friends and spent the day in Atlanta. This place doesn't have any parking, so we parallel parked a few blocks from the Masquerade. We walked about a mile or so to Little Five Points and... More

Went to a metal festival and first problem was the time was extremely misleading. Secondly the bathrooms weren't labeled properly, third the no rentry policy is absolutely absurd fourth, the staff were complete jerks, they hassled numerous people for alcohol, fifth, the acoustics of the room were absolutely terrible,

We traveled to Atlanta so my teens could see a couple of their favorite metal bands at this venue. I dropped them off at the venue two nights in a row. Both of their shows were in the "Hell" section and they said they loved the venue. From the outside it looks like a disaster, but they said the inside... More

Very dissapointed.. The ticket said 6pm but the shows started about 7.30 ( the first band ) and Lindsay Sterling around 8.30 pm. With 93 degrees outside and no shade it's crazy to say the least. Parking is a JOKE. You have to drive almost a mile away and wait in a LONG line to get thorugh a small parking... More

Went to see a show last night. The ticket said 6:00pm. It did NOT say, "Doors open at 6pm." We thought we'd have dinner after the show since it was early. Nope Show began at 7:30 and ended at 10:30. The parking was a mile away (no exaggeration) and cost $10.00. There was a bus to shuttle us over but... More

The Masquerade is an Atlanta institution and, fortunately, the neighborhood is catching up to it. Downstairs has more of a club feel and upstairs is a small, open concert hall. From edgy new bands to smaller tier older ones, this a a great place to be up close. For example, we've seen Trivium, Queensryche and KMFDM here.

We travel up to ATL to see shows at The Masquerade all the time and we've never had a bad experience. The venue is broken up into 3 levels: Heaven, Hell, and Purgatory. Each hall has a decent bar selection (both beer and liquor) with your expected concert venue prices ($6 for well drinks) but the bartenders are consistently awesome.... More
