The presidential library of the finest ex-president our nation has ever seen - the details of the Mideast Peace Accords between Sadat and Begin, the center of the Civil Rights movement, and of course, the founding of Habitat for Humanity all described in great detail. Lovely gardens, fascinating architecture, and a tribute to a giant among men.

This presidential center is surrounded by a lovely park with a nice view of the Atlanta skyline. The exhibits depicting the lives of President Carter and his wife showcase their lives in the White House and their many contributions since they left.there are several short films to view and interactive stations that both adults and kids will enjoy. There are... More

We enjoyed the visit. This is the forth presidential library we have had the chance to visit and each one has been very special. The Carters have served both our country and the human race greatly. We owe them both a great deal of gratitude.

The museum is giant and I wish I would have had time to explore the gardens. I would budget 3 hours here, maybe more. There is a lot to read and watch.

You will be overwhelmed by the great number of photos and items in the museum. The Museum is entered through the Bookstore and the Theater adjoining the Bookstore. We were their in time for a short film that is an introduction to Carter's life. The first exhibition is to Carter's early life in Plains and his interest in the Navy.... More

The Jimmy Carter Library is simply beautiful. The architecture os the building is modern, warm, and welcoming at the same time. Like the man for whom the library is gardens are charming. One thing you must experience is the view over Atlanta. It is stunning. Then there are the collections and the exhibits. This is one of the must do... More

The Carter Center is an oasis in the midst of Atlanta craziness. The displays are informative and interesting, whether or not you are a supporter of Jimmy Carter. It focuses on what he's done since his presidency which is far more reaching and humanitarian than almost any other former President.

It's a presidential library of Georgia's loved President Jimmy Carter. What's there to do but look around and be educated. Something to do when the doin's get slow.

The renovation that was made makes this interactive museum something for the entire family. Glad they kept the oval office, but added so much more. Can not wait to return

Living in Atlanta it is quite easy to take for granted the many grand things that are available- why? because you get used to it. However, we recently attended an event at the Carter Center, while it had not been my first time- I realized that I had not taken the time to really look at my surroundings. The center... More
