The Congress Center was extremely large, which was excellent for the largest cheer competition in the country. However, there were almost no options for someone with food allergies/intolerances, which was a big disappointment.

Big place for sure, but a 2 inch snowfall shut down the city and it was extremely difficult to get food or beverage during days 2 and 3 of the convention. I got the impression that the bad conditions were a good excuse for the poor service, as if it couldn't be helped. Well, I guess welcome to the big... More

My visits here have been for a variety of "shows". This includes the Car Show. The layout of the venue is great and very customizable. The location, near other large venues like the Georgia Dome, make it a real part of the city of Atlanta.

We came here for a three day volleyball tournament in January of 2014. The convention center is huge, very nice and was very clean. The staff was visible and very friendly. The bathrooms were clean and plentiful. My biggest complaint is that the first day we were there, they didn't have any heat on. The enter building was ice cold.... More

We attended a convention here and the facilities are great. LOTS of room and this place could handle multiple large conventions. That said wear good comfortable walking shoes since you will be doing a LOT of walking to get where you need to go. Parking is not close or always easy to find. If you are presenting there is no... Went to NACS convention and the World Congress Center is the worst place for a meeting It was too big and no one on staff knew how to help you get anywhere even to the Omni Hotel next door

Came here for ASTRO and it's a very nice convention center. I will complain about the high prices for food, but that's expected. The bathrooms were alright, relatively clean but they needed more frequent maintenance since there was so many people. The workers that I encountered serving food were really nice and pleasant to chat with. This place does have... More

I was in the GWCC for a conference in January. This place is huge. It has several levels and takes up a couple of blocks. Inside was very clean and well maintained, and the staff helpful with directions. It is conveniently located next to CNN, Centennial Olympic Park, and lots of hotels.

I was at the Georgia Congress Center in June/July of 2013. The center is very modern, clean, the staff was for the most part friendly & helpful. It's big, bring your comfortable walking shoes, you'll need them. The food & drink are outrageously expensive but the good news is the food court across the street in the CNN building. Many... More

Beautiful, well kept and huge center. Visited this venue for Organo Gold's VIP Super Saturday. The first day we felt like we were going around in circles just to get to our particular hall. Although they had directive signs a mapped may have been needed.. Lol. But but the second time around, we knew which entrance to take. Our taxi... More
