Took a group of Girl Scout Cadettes (middle school age) to a Book Artist badge workshop. Virginia was very willing to work with us to find a good time and day to hold the class. Unfortunately, the main museum was closed for remodeling, but we enjoyed the section that was open. It told the story of papermaking in the US, and showed the way it was made originally, then how each successive inovation changed the process. Good for people who like factory tours.

This is a small, free admission, museum on the Georgia Tech campus covering the history and technology of all aspects of making paper. All the exhibits are well done. Off the beaten path, but easily accessible by car or bus. Unfortunately not open on weekends.

why noy visit the wiliams museum of papermaking the bestof it s kind in the country for free and take in the campus of georgia tech home of the ramblin wreck--the atlanta cvb is not ging to promote tis free attraction-
