Doors open at 5:30 and tours start after 6:00. Sampling beer before and after the 20 minute tour made this a fun time. The gift shop was well stocked with brewery swag and neat stuff even for your pet dog.

I went for a celebration vs the normal tour. It was sweetwater brewery 17th anniversary. I had a great time for $12 I got a lot of "tasting tickets." It was actually more than I needed and ended up giving soem of my tickets away. They had hundreds of people there but I never felt too crowded. Great music and... More

$10 gets you a souvenir glass and three beers. I couldn't drink, but my husband and sons loved the beer. The free tour was nice. It would've been fun to watch them bottle it, but I understand it's a safety issue.

Sweetwater has started offering their brewery tours on Sunday. Although the lines are not operating, it's a great day to visit. The crowds was smaller and Mike, our guide, was very fun, especially in his encouragement to come on Sunday's. Their tour packages, $10 for a pint glass and 6 samples or free for just 6 small plastic cup samples,... More

Were only in town for two days, the days they were closed but wanted to buy a t-shirt. Called them, they were so nice on the phone and opened the store up just for us. Thank you! Came here on recommendation of my son, a huge beer fan, he loves the place and loves their beer. If you are a... More

There's no question Sweetwater is the undisputed king in the Atlanta craft beer area. Both in quality of beer and variety. I've come both on "normal" days as well as various special events. The success of Sweetwater though is also it's shortcoming. Depsite the recent expansion (which included adding some games / ski ball to their tasting room) it can... More

You should certainly go spend a couple of hours or so at this (not so small brewery) near downtown Atlanta. It's a sizable operation that offers tours and tastings. For 10 bucks you get a souvenir logo pint glass and tickets for six 4-ounce (or more) samples. Free samples (smaller servings and without the glass) are also offered. Fair warning:... More

Living in Atlanta, we are always looking for stuff to do that we never seem to get around to. A rainy Sunday was well spent at Sweetwater Brewery. We've always enjoyed their beer, but never went to the brewery till the other day. Well worth it. As a home brewer, the tour info was nothing new, but the guide, Trent,... More

My husband loves to check out breweries. He makes his own beer and loves to check out breweries in all the cities we visit. This was a great brewery and so much fun! They had a wide variety of beers and they were delicious! The employees were so nice and they gave a great tour! Definitely a must see when... More

We joined what seemed to be 500 hundred or so others on a sunny Saturday afternoon to do the tour of the brewery and sample the wares. Our tour was pretty awful -- 5 minutes of surliness combined with a few lame jokes. We couldn't really do anything but look at the equipment since it wasn't running and we couldn't... More
