My fiancé and I went to Atlanta for a comedy show and had time to kill so we went by the brewery. We went on the tour and got to see how the beer was made and such. It was very interesting and you got to sample beer for free. Awesome hangout spot and friendly staff.

I've been to Atlanta multiple times and finally made it over to Sweetwater. It's in a warehouse district and has a pretty cool vibe. The outdoor patio is awesome with a stage and corn hole setup. The beer is good and the bartenders give a pretty fair pour for the price. It's a great place to go with friends/a group.... More

I've visited Atlanta several times and finally made it out to SweetWater Brewery and glad I did! Saturdays can be very busy so if possible go on a weekday, but we'll worth the wait!

Wonderful trip to Sweetwater brewery helped us celebrate my grandson's 21st birthday. We got to tour the plant, learning how beer is made, led by an entertaining young man who kept us laughing. Some of our crew got the free beer tastings, six tickets to exchange for our choice of eight different beers. Part of our group opted for the... More

Been here plenty of times! It's a cool place to go on any Saturday/Sunday afternoon. You can also stop by on weeknights. The tour is a run of the mill brewery tour. A guide lectures on the history and brewing process. What is nice is that $10 gets you a glass and a few drinking samples. The samples are fairly... More

SweetWater is a must in Atlanta. I have been 4 or 5 times now and enjoyed it every time, especially when the weather is nice. For $10 you get a pint glass and 6 tasting tickets for the different beers they have on tap. It is always enough for me. So much fun to do with a group of friends... More

Visit Sweet Water Brewing Company on a Saturday afternoon, as we did, and be prepared for a combination beer tasting, dog hangout, and rock concert – all with 200-300 of your closest friends. There are several outdoor areas to enjoy the beer and the Atlanta sunshine. The tasting room and patio are dog-friendly, so if you’re visiting from out of... More

Everytime I'm in ATL I have to make a stop here. The beer is great and their happy hour even better. The vibe and environment are the perfect place to kick back and have a few.

Georgia has some of the stupidest beer laws I've seen in the country, so for most breweries you can only visit during obscure hours and have to buy a pint glass with drink tickets because breweries aren't allowed to directly sell consumers beer. While ever time I've been here it's been packed, and has been enjoyable, I don't understand why... More

Go with friends and enjoy yourselves. The brewery is a bit different than other breweries I have visited. Upon entrance, you purchase tickets. These tickets are then used as tender for beers at the bar. This process eliminates the need to pay in cash and thus speeds up the lines at the bar. I don't recall seeing any food and... More
