We went to the Family Valentine Concert on Valentine's day. It was our first orchestra concert with our 5 year old daughter. It was a beautiful event and well thought out. It held our daughter's attention through the hour long production. Unfortunately it did not hold all the kids attention like the ones in front of us. They proceeded to... More

While we were at the Atlanta Symphony Hall, we were there to see Gregg Allman on New Year's Eve. The facility was well lit and well staffed with the exception of the bar tenders. Unless you wanted a beer, you were sunk. That could be stepped up. Otherwise, ushers were nice and helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening.

I am never disappointed when I go. My education is in music performance, and I had teachers like Daisy de Luca, who was a student of Magda Tagliaferro, and I grew up with wonderful people like Brian Lewis, and excellent violinist. My most favorite visit in recent years was going to see Itzak Perlman in concert. There really is no... More

Went for the ASO Christmas Concert. Wasn't what I was expecting...most of the songs were not in English, and more downbeat then I would have cared for. That aside, the ASO played fantastically, and the supporting choirs were great!

We attended this year's extraordinary holiday music performance for our third year in a row, at the Atlanta Symphony Hall. It is a tradition with our extended family in the Atlanta area. What a treat! The program included traditional holiday music and carols, the ASO Chorus (over 150 voices strong), a youth choir (Gwinnett Young Singers) and the Moorehouse College... More

The 2.5 hours flew by in the blink of an eye, and I was left feeling uplifted by the end. It was such a great experience! Certain songs were cheered and the symphony and conductor received two standing ovations and thunderous applause at the end. That was great. The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra is one of America’s leading orchestras, known for... More

We saw a combined concert, headlined by the Celtic Thunder, backed up by the Atlanta Symphony. It was our first experience with the Atlanta Symphony and we were impressed. The concert was well staffed by helpful people who seemed genuinely interested in the customers enjoying the experience.

The orchestra is certainly top notch. The facility is very nice and the crowd is just as stuffy as anywhere else. Dress up and enjoy the show, but you'd better crack open your bottled water before you enter if you don't want to get chastised...

I have lived in Atlanta for 15+ years and just this past year started attending the ASO. I can't believe I wasted so much time. The ASO is fantastic, a jewel of Atlanta and a must see for everyone who lives here and who visits. I enjoy listening to music, but live music is so much better. The ASO musicians... More

I have been here several times, this time it was not to see the ASO but to see a Jethru Tull Concert, I am not a fan my boyfriend is. But the venue is small always a good seat. They serve drinks which is nice while you are enjoying a concert.
