I want to go again

This venue had wonderful acoustics. I sat in the balcony for total enjoyment, eyes and ears. There is parking underground and nearby.

For our anniversary our son gave us tickets to the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra: Cirque de la Symphonie Holiday Spectacular. And Spectacular it was!! Watching the acrobats, jugglers, quick change artist and strong med all while listening to the beautiful music of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, well it was Truly a treat. If you get a chance to see this show... More

Saw Seth MacFarlane with the Symphony.Seemed like a good idea.He really seems to enjoy the Great Ameican Songbook. He really seems to like the gloomier songs from said book.We sat in the cheap seats.Very good view and sound from up there.

We absolutely support and enjoy the Atlanta symphony orchestra. Excellent programs for all ages and all interest. We always purchase center orchestra row seats which cost more but worth the price.

First class music in a symphony hall renovated for 1996 Atlanta Olympics. It is an attractive hall but the lobby becomes crowded if there is a performance at the Alliance Theater at the same time. Bar service = a wait in line thru the lobby crowd. Nice gift shop. In and out of parking can be a challenge; you might... More

The Atlanta Symphony is expensive and crowded. I compare it to New World Symphony in Miami. New World Symphony was ¼ the cost, not to crowded, narrated by a very enthusiastic person, and they gave us a free drink after the concert. Two worlds apart.

We went to the Family Valentine Concert on Valentine's day. It was our first orchestra concert with our 5 year old daughter. It was a beautiful event and well thought out. It held our daughter's attention through the hour long production. Unfortunately it did not hold all the kids attention like the ones in front of us. They proceeded to... More

While we were at the Atlanta Symphony Hall, we were there to see Gregg Allman on New Year's Eve. The facility was well lit and well staffed with the exception of the bar tenders. Unless you wanted a beer, you were sunk. That could be stepped up. Otherwise, ushers were nice and helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening.

I am never disappointed when I go. My education is in music performance, and I had teachers like Daisy de Luca, who was a student of Magda Tagliaferro, and I grew up with wonderful people like Brian Lewis, and excellent violinist. My most favorite visit in recent years was going to see Itzak Perlman in concert. There really is no... More

Went for the ASO Christmas Concert. Wasn't what I was expecting...most of the songs were not in English, and more downbeat then I would have cared for. That aside, the ASO played fantastically, and the supporting choirs were great!
