It is not a fancy building, but good sound and great skill. We only go to the Pops, always entertaining and makes me grateful to live near Atlanta.

First the Atlanta Choral performed and that is ALWAYS a treat - there isn't room on stage for one more human body..wonderful The Atlanta Symphony under Donald Runicles is solid and worth the attendance

We loved the balcony seating as the view was great and acoustics excellent. Nice location in Midtown, easy walk to area hotels and restaurants, see our Veni Vidi Vici review for a good choice there.

Went for a preview of their season, loved it! Each performance was a feast for your senses. The acting, the music and the presence of each performer made this a very memorable experience and I look forward to their future seasons.

We were at the symphony hall for the OAKE annual conference performance. The acoustics are quite good, air conditioning did not keep up with the heat load, but generally a very good hall.

Particularly under Spano and Runnicles this is an orchestra any city would be proud of. If you're visiting during their season you really MUST visit one of Atlanta's great attractions.

The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra is a jewel. both Donald Runnicles and Robet Spano have raised the bar on performance to world class. The chorus is just icing on top. Even the cheap seats are worth the price!

The venue is small enough to be intimate, although the acoustics are not world-class. Our last visit was outstanding, Fingal's cave was well performed by the orchestra, under the direction of a last-minute replacement conductior, who had been unknown to me previously (Thierry...??) and the guest violinist , Ms Hahn (whom I had not known before) was a superb interpreter... I love the Symphony Hall, great space, great sits, great accustics, great lobby. However, as much as people in Atlanta hails their performing arts groups, I find the level of musicians and the orquestra mediocre, and far from the standards of the big american Cities Orquestras....such as Chicago Simphony and Cleveland Orquestra. Its time for Atlanta to understand that facilities... More

My wife and I went to the symphony for a Valentine's Day date. It has been a while since we have been able to attend a symphony even so this was a special treat. We were not disappointed. The event was a Pops concert with guest piano with Rich Ridenour and vocalist Ashley Brown. We enjoyed both and plan to... More
