I have been going to ASO performances for a little over two years now, and I can't believe that I waited this long before doing so. It is amazing how music has the ability to speak to human beings on a level that most other things cannot and this is a great place to experience just that. Patrons come to... More

I have sung in the Atlanta Symphony Chorus for 25 years and worked for the ASO for 4 years, so I know this organization very well. I'm often dismayed that everyone in Atlanta isn't aware that we have one of the best orchestras in the world right here in our city. I know that some might suspect that I'm biased,... More

I highly recommend the symphony. We drove out to Alpharetta and were very impressed with the venue and concert!

Historically, the ASO has enjoyed a very good reputation and is an excellent orchestra and arts bastion of Atlanta. However it has seen some days of struggle in recent years. Last nights concert at the Verizon Amphitheater in Alpharetta, GA is another example of this issue. It was to be a concert highlighting American patriotic music in celebration of the... More

--Their widely advertised free concerts in Peidmont Park supposedly sold out with within 30 seconds of the tickets coming on line. We know this is impossible, but we have NEVER had success getting these free tickets, and wonder if there isn't some kind of large hold on tickets- and our concerns to the Symphony have not been resolved.

My 11 year olds class took a trip to see the Symphony. The symphony was absolutely amazing and the kids truly enjoyed it. Definitely a must see attraction.

We visited the Atlanta Symphony Friday evening for the Delta Classical Concert. The first piece, Asimov at Star's End, was a discordant mess, but the Hindemith Symphony and the Brahms Concerto for Violin & Orchestra were terrific. Guest soloist Joshua Bell was very good and very enthusiastic. I want to compliment the Atlanta Symphony on their performance hall and gift... More

We have been subscribers to the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra for years and have yet to be disappointed with a concert. We have attended orchestra concerts around this country and abroad and always come home impressed with the quality of our local band. I only wish they had a better hall in which to play. The new acoustical shell is a... More

The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra - with the ASO Chorus - is easily the finest contributor to classical music in Southeast USA. An impressive concert schedule from September till June presents world-class music with conductors, soloists, orchestra and chorus that far exceed most cities in the world - even those that boast about their classical music - in programming, quality, and... My husband and friends and I went to a Christmas performance for our first and presently only visit. It was a great experience, however it was very hot in there and it made for a less enjoyable experience. It was my only complaint, however we didn't have very good seats, they were 3 rows from the top, and may have... More
