Great urban park. Seems there is always something going on. Dogs are welcome and there is an enclosed park just for doggies. That can get a little gross - they sometimes don't tend it for days at a time, it seems. Park Tavern offers discounts on beer when it is raining so check the weather report before you go!

You have to pay for parking, but in the middle of Atlanta sits a great fenced dog park for large dogs. The entire area is covered in mulch with some trees and huge flat rocks where you can sit. Water is available inside the park. There is a short walk from the parking garage to the park and if you... More

What's to say, it's just a park and a pretty nondescript one at that. The gem is the botanical garden on it's edge.

We came to Piedmont Park after a long day of sightseeing. I regret that, as we were much too tired to take it all in. This is a giant park! We sat for awhile on a swing set for two couples, facing away from each other on the side of a lovely lake. You can see the Atlanta skyline from... More

visited this park specifically for the music festival this September. We got there a few hours early and decided to walk around and man it was amazing! I live in Florida and was surprised by the size of this public park and by all of the different activities that were going on during the day!

I was visiting Atlanta on business and had to spend the weekend. As I like photography, after breakfast and while still early I drove to Piedmont Park. I spent two hours walking around its wonderful grounds and taking great pictures! I particularly liked the lake with its beautiful bridge. If you have more time you can visit the adjacent Botanical... More

Piedmont Park! Beloved by Atlantans, the "Central Park" of the south...oh what a wonderful place for an outdoor music festival. The park's space was used very efficiently to house two main stages and several smaller stages while managing to not muddle the sound of either. Food trucks galore, beer, tons of people watching and great music! If you needed an... More

Crikey!....where do I start with this review? It is everything Americana ... We spent days here. The park is massive and offers so much including (all free of charge) outside gymnasium, separate large dog and small dog play areas, children's play area, superb walks and jogging areas, tennis area....I could go on! For a charge you could go swimming or... More

Piedmont Park is always a fun place to go! Close to shops and restaurants. Playgrounds for the kids. Great places for you to just sit and relax. Great for people watching. The dog park area is a personal favorite too.

This looks like a very well used athletic park. We didn't get to explore the whole area. Only when we walked through it to get to the gardens and on Saturday morning for the farmer's market. The farmers market was mid size. It had a lot of fruits and vegetables that we couldn't bring home with us. Some soap, honey,... More
