Strolling along this magnificent park during the early evening with a friend, was magical. I will forever hold this memory close to my heart.

Location in Mid-town, this park is large with a Lake, trails, and many trees, etc. Ran in a Half Marathon and it finished in the park. Some wide open spaces and ball fields etc. Think Central Park in NYC.

What a lovely park and recreational area right in the middle of Atlanta. This was a hopping place with a large dog run, softball and track. Our half marathon finished through the park - great location.

It was a great place to take a walk plus we happened upon the 2 dog parks. It was fun to watch the dogs in the big and small yards.

Love nature but don't like this park. Unfortunately. Parking is ALWAYS a big issue. Paths and vegetation - quite poor. Too many/much plain fields, poor design overall. I went to Piedmont Park 5-6 times hoping to find something about it that I like but no.. staying away from it now on. BUT, Botanical Gardens next to it - bit of... More

We went to Piedmont park this weekend to enjoy the beautiful weather, they were having an Ugly Xmas sweater run down there that was funny! Piedmont park is a great place to spend a nice day, great walking trails, paths for riding bikes, benches for sitting, reading, smooching, etc... There are a couple playgrounds, public restrooms, and water fountains. Wonder... More

This is Atlanta's version of Central Park. There are several historical markers throughout the park, as well as several pieces of artwork. There is a marshland that you can walk through on a boardwalk, miles of trails for running, walking and biking, as well as several areas containing exhibits of differing sorts. This is such a great place to escape... More

This place is wonderful to take your dog! There is a huge Big dog park. And a decent size small dog park. Beautiful and a great place to just be outdoors and enjoy the view, weather, and company of people.

Large, well maintained park. Always something going on. Green market is one of the local favorites. Dog friendly and a favorite spot for dog walking. Paid parking in the park and nearby. Look at the website for events.
