It's one of the jewels of Atlanta to have this wide open park in the centre of what is a gorgeous city. Part of the reason Atlanta is so lovely is because it has Piedmont Park. It's a wonderful place to take a coffee and a book and sit under a tree and just read and watch the Atlantans going... More

I always stop by this park when going through Atlanta to stretch my legs gt fresh air and really feel like i am in Atlanta. it is such a great place to stroll around and go to the Botanical garden next door. it is close by Mid-town restaurants as well. Many sports games going on or just do your own... More

Have been going to Piedmont for over 15 years. It's very well kept and in walking distance to many little restaurants and shops. It's very family friendly and great for a picnic. There is always something going on there on the weekends which could make the park simple a little packed, but it's always nice to see the different kinds... More

This oasis in the middle of Atlanta downtown is used by so many locals, yet it is large enough for sports, bikes, walks and events. The Botanical gardens are wonderful.

I took my dog Xena to the park and we walked most of the perimeter of the park as we people watched and enjoyed seeing other dogs as well. It is a very active park and just a beautiful place to watch the sun go down in the city.

I love Piedmont Park. There are so many festivals to enjoy throughout the summer months that you can spend every weekend enjoying something fun.Typically events are free, but some have a cost. If there is a cost, chances are the event is well worth it. The sprawling park has a pool, and a few water features, along with an exercise... More

I used to come here once a month while I was studying in Atlanta for 1.5 years. This park is great for it's atmosphere, bring a ball and kick or throw, or just sit down under the trees and enjoy the nature.

Our wonderful park is easy to get to and park the car. The park is quite safe environment in the morning and afternoon in the late night can be different story but remember it is a city park. Maintain excellently and the trail is paved and has a dog park area if needed. Of course the dogwood festival is a... More

We came here as part of our trip to Atlanta to see friend with our 20 month old daughter. This park was one of the best parts of the trip there are alot of picnic benches, parks for kids and nature with turtles swimming in the lake. The highlight for me was the park made by the famous architect because... More
