Big Park

If you ever have a chance to attend "Performance on the Promenade" with the Atlanta Symphony you must do it. This park is so big!

It is such a gift for the City of Atlanta. A small version of New York Central Park. Great walking paths with no vehicle traffic. A fabulous Dog Park, Tennis Courts, Swimming Pool are just a few of the amenities. A terrific place to picnic with grills that are available. Throughout the year, Piedmont Park is the place that most... More

Piedmont Park is a great place for a walk, bike ride, running and other forms of exercise. It also has two dog parks, a community garden and many flowers in bloom. Lots of room for a picnic or just relaxing on the grass with a book. All kinds of events take place throughout the year such as the Dogwood Festival,... More

Nice walk with much to do. Connects to the Belt. Probably would do it again with a bike. Can get hot in June.

Pretty park with great city views! Lots of different stuff to do and it's huge! Feels safe, but the amenities (bathroom, drinks, ect.) where not very obvious.

This park is huge and beautiful. You can spend hours here just wondering around the park. Weekends are great.

I think for daytime only since there are a lot of homeless folks in this area. During the day, it's very active with many walking paths, flowers and trees. This park is near many trendy restaurants. I walked from hotel to Trader Joe's then had my lunch on a hill overlooking a group of people playing frisbee.

A great place to take a stroll or take a panoramic view of the city skylines. We, as a family, go there quite a few times a month. A great open area for people watching as well :)

Piedmont Park is okay, with pros and cons just like any other. Pros: -Piedmont Park boasts some of the BEST views of the city's skyline. If you want to shoot a video or take some great pictures, this is definitely the place. -There's a public pool that has free day/times and it's kid-friendly. -Piedmont Festivals are really cool. They usually... More
