I love what is happening in Piedmont Park. I visit often and have decided that the parking garage off Monroe Drive just south of Dutch Valley is best. The park is at its best at the entrance to the garage. Go left out of the garage, and you are at the fabulous fountain. Go right, and you are at the... More

Love the multitude of events. Something for everyone in the family. The Arts Festival, The Jazz Festival and The Farmers markets over the summer to name a few. We love to take walks and spend time relaxing there all during the year. We live over 30 miles away but the drive is definitely worth the drive.

IMO one of the biggest and better parks of Atlanta. There are a lot of people though so if you like quiet, this place is not for you. Lot of bikers and joggers and the dog park is awesome

Piedmont Park is a large, beautiful landmark in Atlanta. Dog friendly, and picturesque, the park has been around since the late 1800s. It stays pretty busy, and I felt safe running the outer paths in the afternoons.

This park is a visual treat to the senses, and the breezes blow gently through branches of trees and tresses of hair regularly. BE SURE to take in Shakespeare in the Park! However, do inquire as to whether a loud, concert will be performed directly adjacent to the play stage...

The west side of the park has a great running track and at the south end of the running track is some gym equipment so you can chin-ups and dips and that sort of thing!
