Great place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city ! Make sure to bring a camera, 2 Blue Heron, 1 Night Heron and multitudes of other birds. You can even fish for free in Lake Clara Meer, which is inside of Piedmont Park.

This fantastic park has everything, nestled right in the city. The park is so serene and beautiful it is almost surreal to see the cityscape that surrounds it. The park is so big, you feel like you are really out of the urban hustle. There are many things to do, from getting a good walk, to running paths, baseball, tennis... More

Enjoy a walk around this centerpiece of tranquility in the heart of Atlanta. Good place to take in a concert or just people watch.

I love this park - it's a true oasis in our urban jungle. The trails and paths are well maintained and the lake is clean teeming with fish and ducks and migrating birds. And even better now is the fact that you can connect to the Beltine and never see roads or cars! Way to go Atlanta! What an awesome... More

I am lucky enough to live near Piedmont Park and use it daily. I have seen it grow and thrive in the past 5 years especially. You can rent bikes or skates at Skate Escape, roll around the park, stop for Bocci Ball, watch the dogs in the huge dog park, walk on shaded or sunny paths, admire the skyline,... More

I've lived in Atlanta for over 50 years and have seen the transformation of Piedmont Park throughout the years. When I was a teen, you didn't go to Piedmont Park unless you had security with you....but that's not the case anymore.....it's a wonderful, beautiful, safe park. My favorite thing to do at the park is go to the Dogwood Festival... More

we accidentally stumbled into the park on our way back to our hotel in midtown after dinner - and what an unexpected find! although it is a main attraction we felt like we found the hidden gem of the city! LOL. we were disappointed that we did not have time to go back during the day, but at night was... More

Spent the day walking around, playing with people's puppies and tossing the frisbee with my girlfriend. Well kept, friendly people, and lots of activity. Very nice little park.

The park is beautiful with a pool and playgrounds. The lake is fun for kids to feed the ducks. It's always so peaceful to go, but a lot of events are also held there like concerts and parties. Always a good idea. And its across from Grady High School, with lots of shops in the area. Last, THERE'S NO ADMISSION... More
