I envy everyone that lives in Atlanta to have this great park in their city. Even though I'm from Norway were we don't have the same big cities and where we have a lot of parks and open spaces, this was something special. The athmosphere and the possibilities that were in the park was just great, even though you're there... More

I really enjoy this park in the midtown area. It's a nice break from the concrete jungle. They have pretty much something or the other going on every weekend.

A great place to unwind. I had a very peaceful walk around the park. This is the place the locals go to run and relax.

This is a must stop on your trip to Atlanta. If you're here for an event or business MAKE TIME FOR PIEDMONT! I promise it'll deliver. It's beautiful and relaxing. Even better if you're here for vacation - plan a picnic, a day of playing ball, go for a run, or a romantic walk. Worth every minute of your time... More

Great urban park. Seems there is always something going on. Dogs are welcome and there is an enclosed park just for doggies. That can get a little gross - they sometimes don't tend it for days at a time, it seems. Park Tavern offers discounts on beer when it is raining so check the weather report before you go!

You have to pay for parking, but in the middle of Atlanta sits a great fenced dog park for large dogs. The entire area is covered in mulch with some trees and huge flat rocks where you can sit. Water is available inside the park. There is a short walk from the parking garage to the park and if you... More

What's to say, it's just a park and a pretty nondescript one at that. The gem is the botanical garden on it's edge.

We came to Piedmont Park after a long day of sightseeing. I regret that, as we were much too tired to take it all in. This is a giant park! We sat for awhile on a swing set for two couples, facing away from each other on the side of a lovely lake. You can see the Atlanta skyline from... More

visited this park specifically for the music festival this September. We got there a few hours early and decided to walk around and man it was amazing! I live in Florida and was surprised by the size of this public park and by all of the different activities that were going on during the day!
