Modern, fun playground.

We ate lunch at Willy's on the park and played in the nearby playground. It was a treat. The design of the playground on the hill was so cool.

It's a HUGE park and very well kept place! It looked like the grass was fake, so perfect! You can jog, play ball, walk or have a nice rest anywhere the park!

When the sun is out piedmont park fills up with lots of diverse people. Many dogs, but generally well-behaved. There is a pond with ducks and geese and a path that you can walk around it on.

Piedmont Park is our Central Park, and while not quite as big, it was designed with Olmstead influences and it is quite beautiful. You can walk, including your dog, play, swim, roller skate, bike or just sit and contemplate the view of midtown Atlanta. Its a great place for a jog or a picnic. Enjoy!

What a nice way to spend an afternoon. The place was crowded, but that was fine. It was clean and beautiful. I wish I could have spent more time there.

Centennial Olympic Park gets a lot of the praise from tourist, I believe due to its more central location near downtown and other main attractions. However Piedmont seems to be more of the locals park. Piedmont definitely has a less touristy vibe than Centennial (which I also enjoy don't get me wrong). You can get some pretty nice pictures of... This is a great park! There are two playgrounds, grounds for ball sports and exercising, and plenty of benches and tables good for picnics and chats. Beautifully maintained trees and flowers. You can pay to park at the botanical garden for less than $10.

Visited in early spring, it was full of people, but still didn't feel crowded. If i lived closer, i would be making this a weekend destination!

Beautiful park, in the heart of the city. The skyline makes for a unique backdrop against the fields, and the lake. Great interesting playground, public pool, tennis courts, basketball courts, swing on the side of the lakes, concerts, festivals, etc. The only downside is traffic around the park (and parking) can be horrendous!
