On a one day Atlanta trip, my wife and I were roaming around and stumbled on the park by chance. Sunday afternoon and the park had some sort of Latin festival going on. It was pretty live and the folks seemed to be enjoying themselves. The park was quiet and well spaced out. Those who were around enjoying the sights... More

Piedmont Park is one of our favorite places. We used to live right down the street and would walk to the park on the weekends for concerts or to grab a drink at Park Tavern. Piedmont Park is a lot bigger than most people know so there is plenty of space and lots to explore.

We were in Atlanta for about 4 days and we came to the park twice. There was an art festival going on when we visited the 2nd time. Didn't buy anything but was amazed with the different forms of art. If this is your first visit to the park, make a note of where you enter from and where you... More

A green oasis in the middle of a huge city. P- Park is surprisingly large for it's central location, and is a perfect location if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city for a while. Plenty of space so you can find a spot if you want to be alone for a while. Lots... More

If you find yourself near Piedmont Park on a Sat. morning between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. from March 1 to mid Dec., visit the Green Market (Farmers' Market) located at Piedmont Avenue and the 12th Street Park Entrance. While not huge, it has a nice variety of vendors with samples, and is so nice to walk there, shop, and... More

Lovely park, large enough for a jog with some outdoor exercise equipment. Went to the Piedmont Park Arts festival and that was nice as well, just beware of sellers that don't know what their stuff is made of..!
