Love to go to these museums!

The grounds are very beautiful but the building could be kept up better! Very well laid out and informative, the mock oval office was great and very accurate!!

Have been to almost all presidential libraries and this one, together with the Clinton one, were the worst. Very arrogant exhibition. Carter takes credit for everything good that happened in the 1980s and 1990s. His good work for global development, however, is undisputed. The surrounding garden is nice though. Would not return to this one.

Been to Jimmy Carter Museum many times since the opening in October 1986, but today Wednesday, 16April 2014, it glowed. Before the spring rain comes pay a visit. A wonderful place to forget the buzz of the city and look at the skyline admid the dogwoods, evergreens, and azaleas. Would love to go on a landscape tour of the Jimmy... More

Took our two granddaughters here on a field trip and it was an excellent addition to their history course they were taking as homeschoolers.

It is best to visit when there is a conference going on so that you chances of seeing some important international guests is heightened. A brief visit is all that is needed...but we love the restaurant and theatre district around the Library

Stopped on our way through Atlanta last week. Enjoyed the trees and flowers, what a beautiful sight after a long Iowa winter. The museum is easy to navigate with many interesting exhibits. Gives new understanding to Carter's life and works. He deserves alot more credit than he gets. I really enjoyed the afternoon and the gift shop is reasonable!

Nestled in East Atlanta is the Jimmy Carter Library and Museum. Situated on land that was a plantation and was the edge of the Atlanta battle lines during the Civil War, this beautiful property is the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of Downtown. The Marta employees at Five Points were hopeless when it came to giving directions to... More

This museum is like most other presidential libraries chronicling the life and times of a US President. I found it interesting and enjoyable. There is a great painting of Jimmy Carter made up of different images that you can purchase as a puzzle or postcard in the gift shop.

We took a friend who lived in Atlanta many years ago to this grand presidential museum and library . We are both fans of presidential libraries. A perfect way to understand an era of American life. This museum and library sits on a beautiful parcel, and is close to the Virginia Highlands neighborhood for food and drink before or after.... More
