We visited June 2008 based on comments on this board. I wasn't as impressed with it as others seemed to be. If you are a Civil War buff, perhaps this would be more exciting to see. I would personally only recommend it to those who are. more

This is a museum (which I didn't have time to see) and a 40 foot tall painting with 3-D diorama in front of it. This turned out to be a totally unexpected and pleasant surprise! You sit in a theatre and are moved around the arena to see the Cyclorama. Then you get to visit a Civil War Museum. If you are interested in history, then visit this if you are in Atlanta. more
