I like this venue A LOT. So much that I will travel just to make an event at Atlanta's Philips Arena especially Birthday Bash. Birthday Bash 19 back in June was my most recent event here. I had great seats which could be considered just as good as the first five rows of the floor. I was in section 116... More

Was there for the Steve Harvey Neighborhood Awards, great show by the way. Holds lots of people but, THOSE LITTLE BITTY TV SCENES, SERIOUSLY!! It's 2014! Not a venue for heels. Even with comfortable shoes, the steps to get to your seats are hard to walk even for someone that exercises on a regular basis. Be ready to walk. Seats... More

The Steve Harvey Neighborhood Awards chose an excellent facility for their event. From the moment I entered, the staff was cordial. They never hesitated to ask me if I needed any assistance with locating where I wanted to be. The employees, who worn jackets and ties, (even the women) were easy to locate. Smiles and pleasant attitudes were a plus... More

Hawks won 98 to 85 in my first NBA playoff game A really exciting game, full of fans and chants, the cheering never stopped, watching a live game, no matter the team, high flying dunks, blocks and dribbling, just got me excited. Of course supporting the local team, but I was hoping I could see Gustavo Ayon on the bench... More

The Atlanta Dream play WNBA games at the Philips Arena in downtown Atlanta. My experience was great. The arena is very easy to get to. There are plenty of other attractions in the downtown area, so it is worthwhile to plan out your visit to see all of the sites. The arena is nice in that there are of plenty... More

Went to see a concert here. It's good if you have seats down in the lower sections, as it is a HUGE arena! Not sure how good the show will be if you have nose-bleed seats. The facilities are nice, but be prepared for parking a ways away and traffic jams after a huge concert.

I have seen several concerts at Phillips arena. The acoustics are much better at Phillips than at the Dome. The complex for the World congress center, Phillips arena, and the Ga Dome is massive. There is a lot of construction going on at the moment and some of the parking is gone. Marta can be a good option as long... More

Saw P!nk here in March 2013. Stayed at Hilton Garden Inn 2-3 blocks away. Easy to get to. Felt safe walking there and back after midnight. Stay in a hotel close enough that you can walk.

Phillips Arena is where all the Big Shows go. Basketball, Hockey, Concerts, the Circus, the Rodeo, Monster Trucks and motor cross. I've been many, many times. Always good shows! Parking is very expensive and not to close. I still have a good time!
