The arena was very nice and very clean. So many choices of places to get drinks. I was in overload. I was kind of disappointed I did not get to go to the Crown Royal Stand. The line was too long. The price of beer was average for events.

Visited for the Garth Brooks concert and the staff was excellent. Very friendly too. Floor was very sticky at our seats but we went to the second of two concerts that day and that is to be expected.

Phillips arena is the sight for the upcoming new Atlanta Falcons stadium. there is a lot of construction going on all around the area. If you come here for an event keep a tight grip on your wallet and purse. there are a lot of panhandlers all through the area and the adjoining Olympic Park (all sites of the 1996... More

Great to see Garth on tour again. Stadium is getting old and is not very well laid out inside for high traffic. Lots of history in this place, though.

Last night (19th Sept) I attended the second Garth Brooks concert at the Philips Arena, the doors were advertised as opening at 21.30 in readiness for a show start at 22.30 but when we arrived at 21.40 the audience for the earlier show (18.30 start) were still leaving, As a result the doors did not open until considerably later than... Having seen Garth Brooks in Las Vegas, we just had to see a concert. Good seats, took over an hour to access the arena, we stayed at a hotel within a short walking distance, so no traffic problems. But the acoustics are terrible for a concert, 6000 miles and after 30 minutes a temporarily deaf, we wanted to walk out.... More

Audio bad...seats expensive...no view unless you like to feel like an ant. I will never go to another concert at the venue. This was the first and last visit.

I love a great concert, not so much when I have to deal with traffic to get downtown but the arena is a nice spot. I have been here several times and enjoy my experiences. Food here is quite expensive as well but eat before you go.
