busy, but great place to "take a break"

I made a last minute reservation to for the CNN VIP Tour while I was recently in Atlanta. My ticket instructed me to be there 20 minutes ahead of my tour departure time, which really was not necessary since I had printed my ticket prior to leaving home. The line to get tickets was long and moved slow, but one... More

This is very average but if you ever wanted to know how CNN works, this is the place for you. If you are hungry, the plaza has a plethora of eateries to enjoy. On the tour, you get to ride the world's longest escalator.

First I should say the CNN Center consist of more than just the CNN Studio Tour. We went just to check the building out. Not disappointing at all. There is more than one entrance. Going in through the front(main)entrance of course is recommended. Huge building.... large food court, standard fast food selections, with CNN TV's keeping you up to date... More

The tour for this venue is about 55 minutes. You ride a ginormous escalator to the top of the building to walk down 8 flights of stairs throughout the tour back to the lobby. If it is handicap accessible, I am not sure where the elevators were. It was interesting to hear how the news is delivered and to see... More

Loved the tour and being able to go inside the production rooms etc. Saw Carol, Suzanne, and Chad -- was very cool seeing them in person. The only thing I didn't like is it went too fast!!! : )

My husband and I took our kids (16, 9 and 5). We were all bored. The tour guide was very friendly, but there was nothing exciting or informative about anything on this tour. A true waste of a couple hours and significant amount of money. Don't waste your time

There are lot of interesting things that happens behind the scene after the news is captured on the field by the reporter and before you watch the news on TV. I learned a lot about the process to deliver the news, got a chance to see my favourite Don Lemon on my first visit and Anderson Cooper on my second... More

My family and I toured the CNN Center and were very impressed with the scale of the complex. We we made to feel we were part of the process of getting the news to millions. Only one negative here. Our tour guide did not want anyone to participate in reading the news..it was obvious, because she asked and did not... More

I went on a weekend and there was not alot of activity. It's great to see the building. I learned alot and it should be something one must do at least once. It was a great way to spend indoors on a rainy day.

We took this tour one afternoon, mainly to kill some time before our baseball game that night. We got our tickets, and went on to the tour, which was very interesting, getting to see the behind the scenes aspect of the various newsrooms and studios. Our tour guide was very good and answered all our questions with enthusiasm and knowledge... More
