The tour at CNN gives one a basic look at how a news studio prepares and presents the news. I was hoping for a little more depth to the tour. The tour guide that lead my group seemed impersonal and acted as if she were reading from a scripted that she could not deviate from. I do not care to... More

I bought the Atlanta City Pass on line before arriving in Atlanta. It isn't any less expensive buying on line vs buying at one of the attractions, about $80.00 with tax. The only difference may be I was given a coupon for an upgrade to the VIP tour, which cost an additional $14.00. This included getting a 5 x 7... More

Ok....so not what i thought it would be, but what else is there to offer here. This is a live working news reporting business. You can say that you have been to CNN Atlanta.......Ok but for $16 each not worth that, maybe $10 tops. The guide was entertaining and she knew her stuff.......well good for her that is her job.... My mom came in from NY to visit for Mother's Day and I set up a CNN tour for us. It was my mother, my daughter(16), my girlfriend, her son(17) and myself. Of course the teenagers were not impressed but the adults were. It was interesting to see the inside of where it all happens for the news. You would... More

If you are a news junkie this place is for you! If you are not a big fan you will probably not enjoy it. I plan to go back and do the VIP tour or try to go on a busy news day.

I don't know why they take all this money ? Nothing deserves it. We went through the building from the emergency stairs and see nothing except some desks from behind the glass ! I kept looking at the time to pass to end the tour. I wish I spent the money in something else.

Tour was ok and interesting. Our guide (will update if I remember his name - guy with glasses from VA) was the best thing about it. He was VERY knowledgeable but the tour itself was forgettable.

It's mostly an interesting insight into news direction and the nuts and bolts of it - but the VIP tour gives you a few looks at shows being made live, which was pretty cool. The gift shop is surprisingly good too, grabbed a CNN windbreaker for ~£20 which was a bargain for the quality of it.

Very informative, not too expensive, and just the right length of time. Long elevator at the beginning is in the Guinness World Book of Records which is cool and the tour guide knew a lot of other interesting facts about the building and CNN to keep our attention.

Went on the CNN Studio Tour in October 2014. Had made a reservation, but got there early and was able to get on a tour with our scheduled reservation time. Our tour guide was well informed and took us all over CNN. I found the tour to be fascinating, and educational. High recommend for anyone of all ages, particularly students.... More
