I liked being able to take a picture behind the anchor desk and record my own video! It is a nice tour and makes me want to move to Atlanta from Chicago and work there.

Ok, so its a newsroom. I think the coolest part was the 8 story escalator and the inside of the actual building itself. You get to see the newsroom, ask ?s, get a souvenir pic, it's cool to go inside. I wanted more history, inside background something, i give it an ok.

See how CNN comes to life 24 hours a day 7 days a week! You get to learn how the news makes it to your TV! With all the computers and monitors it looks easier then it probably is. The down side is that you are kept at quite a distance with a view at some odd angles. I think... More

Very large, open area. Tour is heavily scripted down to when guide waves his or her arm...Would have enjoyed seeing more behind-the-scenes stuff. Most sights are viewed from above, from a glassed-in viewing area. But we did enjoy seeing what we could. The floor mosaic of the world map was pretty cool!

We enjoyed our tour of the CNN Atlanta facility today. Our guide (fellow named Hayden) was very good and kept the group entertained and enlightened. Not for small kids-nor for those with mobility issues. It was very interesting to see rooms with folks actively gathering, filtering, writing and editing news copy. Although we didn't see any big stars, the tour... More

In this tour you get to see how they make the news. If this subject interests you, you will like it, but it's a bit boring to the general audience. For me the highlight of the tour was going up the eight floors escalator in the beginning, which apparently is the largest in the world.

We were looking forward to getting to see the workings of a television studio, but the canned tours that run every 30 minutes are a bit mundane & monotonous...more like someone reading the captions on the pictures for you. "here's studio 3, in here we..." with not much animation or variation. Nothing was going on while we toured, which maybe... More

We were told the tour was about an hour, Our tour was about 40 mins. Tour guide was very stilted and sounded like she was reciting a memorized script. Agree with previous reviewer - saw lots of hallway and stairways - nothing going in the any of the newsrooms, so really nothing to see. Escalator was the highlight of the... More

The kids (age 13, 9 and 6) enjoyed seeing the processes of "how tv is made" (the green screen, the weather, etc). They are not really old enough to be interested in the news and we were not there for any live broadcast, so their interest level stopped there. More appealing for the adult crowd.

1ste choice was to visit the Coca Cola centre, but they had an event and were closed. So second best was CNN. It was nice to get a tour. You get to see how a news studio works (the green wall, a teleprompter), but not so much detail on how CNN in specific works with all the correspondents.
