My teenage son and I took the CNN tour as part of our CityPass package. I've actually taken the tour before many years ago. It was okay...since it was a Saturday there wasn't much going on to see. The tour guide was great, friendly and knowledgeable. There are a lot of steps and it is a walking tour so if... More

We had reservations for the 9:00am tour on the Friday before Memorial Day. Picking up the tickets and getting to CNN was easy. Our tour group wasn't all that large, which was nice also. We took the longest free-standing escalator up 6 stories, and went into a theater. We were able to see CNN's live broadcast, as well as other... More

It is really cool to see what is behind all of what you see on CNN. I've watched the show The Newroom and it was cool to be able to contextualize what is going on in that show and seeing the people, places, and things that make the news happen each and every day. 24 hours a day 7 days... More

Its worth a visit if you're in town and have never seen how a tv control room or a news room works. But you only get to experience a couple minutes of it. The tour feels very rushed and you're constantly being told no photos or to move away so employees can get by. They really need more space dedicating... More

Getting a behind the scenes look was one of the coolest parts of my trip to Atlanta. You start off by going up the worlds largest escalator, then immediately you start seeing, and hearing, what it's like to be a worker at CNN. From seeing a live tv show, to the research center it's definitely a must do when in... More

The CNN tour is a part of the Atlanta City Pass and is worth the time and money. The tour is about an hour long and the guides keep visitors entertained and engaged through the tour. I found the tour insightful, an opportunity to build a stronger understanding of what happens behind the scenes at a News room studio. My... More

CNN Center is just opposite Centennial Olympic Park a Marietta in Atlanta. Part of the building is occupied by Omni Atlanta luxury hotel. My daughter had booked tickets . We were taken to the top of the Center in through the longest single elevator in the world. The news rooms and studios of CNN and HLN will relieve the curiosity... More

The CNN Studio Tour is a nice tour to try at least once in your lifetime. It only lasts about 50 minutes, but our tour guide informed us of all the ins and outs of what it takes to run the center locally & nationally. Plus side is the food court with plentiful places to dine and eat without leaving... More

If you are all about the news, then you would enjoy the tour. We went on a Saturday, so it wasn't buzzing with action. If you went during a weekday, it would be better. Great tour though.

If you are at all interested in how tv news is produced, this is a must-see when on Atlanta. The CNN Building is a huge maze of studios, production bays, and offices where the venerable news agency gathers, researches, verifies, and reports the news. The tour will take you behind the scenes of each of these processes, for a look... More
