We found this place and thought we'd try it out for a change from the big mountain scene. What an awesome surprise! No crowds and no lines! Perfect small atmosphere. the base lodge, parking and lift are all super convenient and centrally located. Super affordable and the trails were nicely groomed. We will definitely be back! A tip if you... More

Suicide Six is a great place to learn to ski and to vacation with family and friends. Woodstock is a georgous little town in VT that has so much to offer. Staff is extremely friendly and informative and the mountain and resort is managed very, very well. The varied terrain, from beginner to advanced skiers and snowboarders, is always enjoyable.... I skied with my 11-year-old son during the week between Christmas and New Year, when there was little snow. Only two runs were open (luckily both green for beginners like us), so we went many times down the "bunny" hill using the J-bars, then attempted the "Easy Mile." On a regular day with everything open, we would have tried a... More

As a ski newbie, I was very apprehensive about the entire experience. In December of 2013, I spent the day (and had a semi-private ski lesson) at another nearby ski resort that made me feel like they were herding sheep. I had never put ski boots on, nor had I ever used any of the equipment, and, despite my voicing... More

My family had the BEST ski weekend at Suicide Six. The staff is genuinely caring and friendly. The instruction was the best I have experienced in the Northeast. Hardly any lines on the weekend and a good size mountain for beginners like us. My sons loved Gordon and Sam. And I went from total beginner to skiing (slowly) a blue... More

While this mountain does not have lots of bells and whistles it does have great runs. Our children are still beginning to develop their confidence on skis and this mountain encourages just that. All the runs end at the lodge. The green runs are long enough to keep the kids happy and the blue and black runs end up at... More

A+ all around...Customer service, atmosphere, condition of mountain/snow, knowledge of staff, etc.. We have been going to Suicide for the past 20 years and absolutely love it. It is such a great family oriented place with enough to do for everyone and every level.

What an amazing weekend at this Mountain! The torch light parade was the most amazing scene I have ever encountered. There must have been 100 skiers in perfect formation skiing down the hill. Even better was the fireworks display that rivaled the annual July 4th routine at the esplanade in Boston. Had a chance to meet the GM Charles Vanderstreet... More

Skied the day after New Year's Day in the falling snow-gentle and beautiful-people outfitting us for the day were terrific!
