Based on previous reviews, I was not looking forward to the crossing, and expectations were low. In fact, however, my experience was very positive. The accommodations will not be confused for a five-star hotel, but the single-bed cabin that I had, while basic, was clean and comfortable. Sheets/towels were freshly laundered. Did not take a shower, but it appeared to... More

Travelling by motorbike from Croatia to Italy in mid July. We had read some reviews and were not looking forward to this part of our adventure, seeing it as a necessary to endure to get to Italy and continue our travels. We stopped and stocked up on bug spray and prepared to sleep fully dressed. We arrived in advance to... More

It was quite an interesting experience. Extremely basic and old ferry. Still posters from the times the ship sailed in Scandinavia on the walls. Cabin was very basic and worn out, but it had air conditioning and it was possible to have a shower. Stuff was friendly. In general it was so basic and extremely expensive for the quality, that... After reading the other reviews we were dreading this crossing. We'd prepared by buying bug sprays and eaten in advance of our departure. We even arrived hours early as we thought checking in would be a nightmare. What rubbish! The lady on reception (which is in the terminal building right next to the ferry) couldn't have been more friendly and... More

I've been on several ferries, but this one was rather special. People tend to be unfriendly, the cabin was smaller than you would expect and noisy. Apart from the trash and other leftovers of the person who slept before me in my bed, we got company from bed bugs. However, albeit the travel to Montenegro may be rough, I can... More

I had read the reviews and was expecting mayhem but got a memorable experience instead. Check-in is a bit slow and confusing (on the Bari side, at least), but if you get a taxi from the city it is a flat rate to the port (12 euro) and they will take you exactly where you need to go. After you... More

I always like to say something nice, if I can. So, first the positive: The ferry did not sink. Now, the negatives, which are so numerous I don't want to forget a thing... A friend and I were traveling in multiple countries via motorcycle. We decided to cross from Bari, Italy, and go to Montenegro. We have different family names.... More

We read the reviews and had very low expectations, the boat was dirty, bathrooms were horrible, no crew to be found after loading, no information available. No address for entry, no information about services on board. No safety information, no program for boarding. All very disorganized. We brought our own food, drink and bedding instead of paying for a room... More

I was excited about the cabin, excited about the views, about the romance of travelling across the Adriatic by boat. I was bitterly disappointed. Instead of a modern ferry I was confronted with something that more resembled a ship transporting refugees. People were sleeping in the halls, in fact you could not navigate the ship without having to step over... More

I booked a private room for myself and my girlfriend in order to get to Montenegro from Puglia. Unlike the above review... our booking waw honoured. However, at the time of writing this review, we had to travel 2km to a separate building in the dock area to check-in. This was quite bewildering given there were kiosks for this company... More
