In the busy center of Bacau, this is an oasis of rest. Beautiful old church surrounded by a small park. In the back of the park are also the ruins of 2 buildings dating back to the 15th century. The new information signs, also in English, give some interesting background.

This is the oldest church in Bacau and it is about 500 years old, founded by Stephen the Great and his son Alexander.

The church with the ruins of the Moldavian king Petru Palace are the oldest buildings in Bacau. The Church is still functioning and is worth a visit.

Because of the big garden, it is far from the crowded street, it is a the best church for a wedding in Bacau. Plus the ruins make the photos more interesting.
