The museum is nice, but it's very small. The exhibits were interesting and the staff was friendly.
But it was fun in DC though. Its not that far from the DC so it was great time.
I've actually visited the museum in the past and the set up of displays is impressive. I believe it costs $5 per person for the museum part. I was here in Dec. for the gift shop. I actually bought several nice Christmas gifts for family members here. Very nice staff and some good quality merchandise here.
As important as the Battle of Manassas was to the Civil War, this museum has greater potential, if given/donated more exhibits and, probably, if it had greater funding. This was great fun for my children. They give each child, according to age, a question sheet to answer as he/she walks through the museum. It was fun to watch the kids try to get the next answer before their siblings.
