Wish it was bigger.

Everybody we encountered was so informative and helpful. Nicely done but would like a slightly larger space with slightly more displays.

This museum is in the center of our town and does a great job of providing a history and an overview of life in a small Virginia town. The artifacts are from local sources and the displays change frequently. The Civil War is a significant part of the history of Manassas and many artifacts are on display. The museum sponsors... History of Manassas and the people who lived there 100 years ago. Not for Civil War buffs or children but great for anyone who enjoys history. A lot of info packed into a small space.

i managed to see it with a photo history of past and present. a collection of the 100-150 years old images with current images eschewing the changes from the same perspective. Very informative and worth a return.

Virginia is such a historical state, it's hard to go anywhere without bumping into some artifact or museum. we've lived in Manassas for 15 years and it took 13 to go visit the museum because it was just hiding in plain sight. It's a great tribute to the battles fought in the Manassas area. A little small but with so... More

My little grandson and I recently paid a visit to the Manassas Museum. From the outside it looks very big with a beautiful piece of land surrounding it with a small but fun playground and a large parking lot. Once inside you are greeted by 2 very nice and enthusiastic people who orient you to the Museum. The cost is... More

The museum is a wonderful step back in time with a lot of information to look at, and helpful staff. It is not very large so you will not spend a long time here, but it is a great start before walking throughout Old Town. Plus, there is a lot of event information as well.

lots of Civil War info, small only two rooms. Think of the $5.00 entrance fee as helping to build a bigger museum.
