Poor access down a set of steep steps. Worth the effort to get to an amazing beach. Looks worth the effort, especially when the sun is shining.

You definitely should visit Golden Sands Beach during your stay on Malta. It's a big, sandy beach with not so many people. There's long section of lagoon with low level of water. I recommend to seize the oportunity to sail with Charlie on his motorboat. He's great guy and will show you all the near caves and shoreline from the... More

A beautiful beach with soft sand and clear water. Many of the beaches in Malta are a little too man made for us, but this was lovely and well worth the trip to catch the sunset! The day we went the wind had really picked up making it a bit too windy and cold, but the beach was still busy... More

It's a small beach but with an amazing view. Though it was rather dirty at the time we went. Otherwise the sand is nice and soft and the water is so lovely and clear. Once again, the view is amazing!!! The cafe just next to it serves some really nice cakes & hot chocolate.

A lovely beach that was popular with some great wind surfers. A pretty little area and about 3 little bar/cafes. It's about an hour from Valletta so you get to see a bit of the island too and with a full day ticket costing only €1.5

It was a lovely beach just a bit cold to stay for to long because of the time of year we went. In the summer months it would be great for children as there is lots of sand.

Golden Bay is the best beach on the Island, and even in Winter, when I didn't fancy a dip, I still sent there for the view, so sit in the cafes, each ice-cream, and remember fantastic summer days on this lovely spot.

We went for family day out. Apart for the buses are every hour, and we just missed one,it's amazing! A must go! Clean, golden sands, restaurants, ice cream bars and toilet facilities. They got water sports available at a fee and the most beautiful sea. Only thing was there was a lot of dead jelly fish and seaweed in sections. Also... More

Very clean beach. I stayed at the Radisson wich owns part of the beach so we had fresh towels and Sun lounger for free. Water is Crystal clear and the sand is golden. The beach does get busy but very easy to get here by bus

Beautiful beach, crystal water, quiet. The only problem i found was the lack of sunshades on the beach itself. There is coffee shop on the beach, you can stay there, but no umbrellas (at least in October). Good connection with a bus, great experience.
