Love the people very friendly. We are not beach lovers which is why we visit this side of Malta, we think that if you go to a place you need to visit it, not to visit the beach or hotel. See what the Island has to offer

We were in Malta in 2014 Christmas period and stayed at Mellieha. One day we went to Mdina Old City along with Rabat and Bugibba. Ater seeing Rabat/Ndina area, we took Bus X3 to reach Buggiba to reach a beautiful bay, named Golden Sands Beach or St Paul’s bay. The bay was clean but not sandy. In seasons, lots of... More

I really really enjoyed staying at the raddison hotel. Great sea view apartment. It was a promotional holiday. Nice maltese food in hotel restaurants. My kids really enjoyed it. I would definitely go back again. But for longer this time.

Golden sand and west facing for the sun set - very nice. There are some shops with buckets and a couple of cafes but nothing fancy or particularly healthy - chips and stuff mostly. However the beach is gorgeous and contrasts nicely with the rest of the Maltese coastline

We ended up out here as we were lured into a timeshare presentation which was at the Hotel. The beach itself is small with a few cafes behind it, nothing special but good for Malta. It recently featured in the British Airways Club Tropicana advert with Out of the Blue group. The 3 massive blocks of the hotel overlook the... More

Poor access down a set of steep steps. Worth the effort to get to an amazing beach. Looks worth the effort, especially when the sun is shining.

You definitely should visit Golden Sands Beach during your stay on Malta. It's a big, sandy beach with not so many people. There's long section of lagoon with low level of water. I recommend to seize the oportunity to sail with Charlie on his motorboat. He's great guy and will show you all the near caves and shoreline from the... More
