We went there to watch the sunset, but we found much more than we thought :) You just reach down in the pebbles and find seaglass! I've found 3 different colors. It's amazing. The whole bay & the sunset is beautiful.

While I do like this beach, the water is quite rocky and the sand itself is littered with cigarette butts.

This is one of the best beaches in Malta, second after Ghajn Tufieha (nearby beach). The water is crystal clear and the sand is yellow. The right part of the beach is better, because is completely sandy, and there are no small stones when approaching to the sea. The only "problem" is that you have to carry on your own... More

Spotlessly clean and beautiful scenery. The sand was clean and not too expensive for the sunbeds. Great transport links close by

A lovely spacious sandy beach. Wear flip flops the sand was VERY hot the day we visited. Favored by locals the facilities were busy, so parking was a bit of a problem initially.

We took day at golden beach, went by coach from our hotel at 9 pm, and there were not so many people there at that time. Sun beds were easily available at reasonable price. The beach is sandy with some rocks at the middle part. By the time we left however, 1 am, it was very crowdy. There ares some... More

Head to toe or should I say other peoples hair over your toes experience, the other two beaches in the area are much better, Ghajn Tuffieha has similar sunbeds parasols and bar but bit quieter best is Gnejna bay, unnofficial naked bathing, large bay tranquil area and really quite worth the extra walk.
