I've been to the Altria Theater for two concerts and was impressed with the facilities. I never saw the theater before restoration. Bathroom and concession proximity is good, no matter what floor you are on. The theater is convenient to VCU and downtown. We are local and usually walk there and take cabs home, so I cannot comment on the... More

We were a group of six going to see Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons. The concert was fabulous. Made all the better by the venue. The theater has been extensively refurbished and it shows. The acoustics have always been grand and still are. The increase in size configuration and most importantly NUMBERS of bathrooms was the best. The seats... More

This was my first visit to Altria. It is simply stunning. It is reminiscent of the Opera theaters from my years in Italy. Stunning renovation! All the seats provide a good view of the stage and the acoustics are wonderful. It was such a fabulous way to experience a concert.

Saw a concert in this venue. Our seats were in the balcony. No complaints on sound and we could see the stage fine! This theater is beautiful! Love the ceiling! Love the bell that tolls when the show is about to start! The ushers were friendly! Would recommend seeing a show or concert here! I will be back!!

This venue has had several names over the years...The Mosque, The Landmark Theater and now The Altria Theater but it will always be The Mosque to me. It has had a recent renovation/update and is absolutely stunning! Its 1926 charm has not been altered, the interior decor has beautiful gilt, deep colors and crystal lighting. Whether we are seeing a... More

The classical mosque design of the theatre stands out from the other buildings on this street. We walked around the structure just to take in the various details. Worth a visit.

Went to see Idina Manzel on her world tour the other night and see was magnificent, the highlight's for me is when she sang her version "Creep" (by Radiohead ,she literally left it all on the stage. Also near the very end she sang a song acapella wow what a voice.! WE had seats on the grand tier and we... More

From every seat in the theater you can see the stage really good. Unless you really like sitting up front I wouldn't pay for a higher ticket, because of the way the theater is made every seat has a good view of the stage.

I went to see a comedian at the theatre and this was my first visit there. I was truly impressed with the layout and seating. Nice location and parking was not too far away. Clean facility and ample bathrooms. Will be returning.

Went to see Sufjan Stevens concert. Thought the seats were a little on the small size. Sound was good. Parking was right next door, which was convenient, it did take forever to get out after the show. Would see another show here, but wouldn't go out of my way to see a show here.
