This theater has all your new movies out. The movie price for Richmond is pretty good & if you have a Student ID you get a couple dollars off. The seats are very comfortable and the theaters very large. There's always plenty of parking. But the food & drinks (like any other theater) are very expensive.

Movieland (aka Bowtie Cinemas) has an appropriate offering of recent movie releases, reasonably clean theatres & restrooms, and fairly tasty unbuttered popcorn.

I go to this theater at least 2 Tuesdays a month because of their $6 ticket special for vip card members. They also have $5 large popcorn. THAT'S A DEAL in this age of $11 movie tickets! The theaters are clean, and the atmosphere is cool and different from most other theaters. This is my new go-to theater in Richmond!

Lots of parking, comfortable seating, not too crowded on a week night, and decent popcorn. It's a typical 21st century movie theater.

A typically big theater that plays Hollywood blockbusters and such. Thankfully they added a Art house theater which adds greatly to ones movie choices.

Movieland is in an historic building and not the usual mega theatre. Good parking and you can enjoy a beer or wine while you wait or if you just want to get there early. Good location in the heart of Richmond.

The converted factory location offers one of the most pleasing environments to catch a film we have visited. You get the latest films (including some art house films for the cinophile) as well as a weekly showing of something classic. All of this without having to endure the usual mall megaplex sameness.

Very well designed, layout is very nice. Lot's of choices for movies. The concession stand is expensive just like in any other theater but otherwise, clean and kept up. Very nice.

This is a cool theater. Theaters retrofitted into n a high-ceilinging rustic brick & steel constructed train factory from the days of yore. Typical of most multiplexes there are a few larger theaters and more of the smaller variety. Pour your own butter for popcorn -- I like that.

I enjoyed the atmosphere, plus you get to put on your own fattening, unhealthy butter....but I love it.
