This was our second visit and kids love it every time. Enter a world of make believe. Kids can play banker, post office, restaurant, ambulance driver, auto mechanic, hospital. Great free craft room.

I was under the impression CMOR (Children's Museum of Richmond) was an actual museum with exhibits. It's really a big playground for younger kids. They have a little town set up for role playing, but in some places the accessories are missing, like the bank has nothing but furniture in it. There is a big art room, I guess that's... More

This private museum on Broad St. in Richmond is a wonderful place to spend half a day with your younger children or grandchildren. you name it and you can do it in a TOTALLY hands on place. The toddler area is a mini-farm with lots to touch and platy with. Most of the "animals" on the wall "talk" when buttons... More

We brought our two kids, ages 1 & 4, and it was great. It's setup like a little town on one half. There's a carousel, water table, outside area and also some "caves" they can explore. They both liked it and it entertained them for about 2.5 hours. There's also an outside splash pad that we didn't visit bc we... More

This is good place for S.T.E.M.A. Our science workshop was great, our teacher taught the kids a lot about chemicals. They were truly amazed.

My son and I went here a few times. First we went to the main museum downtown. Then we went to the one in Midlothian. I liked the Midlothian museum better than the one downtown. It was less crowded and had a better layout. My son seemed to have a good time but got bored easily and wanted to leave.... More

For the price, you really can't beat it. $8 per person, and kids can play all day! Not only that, but they are learning as well. Their summer hours just started, so they stay open until 7 on Saturdays, not 5. My only gripe is that they should have a little cafe or someplace to get real food inside, instead... More

I have been to several Children's Museums and this one has particularly pleased me and my family. It offers good fun activities and great learning while giving children a chance to go behind the curtain or act as an anchor or pretend to be a teacher and more. This place is worth multiple visits with kids.

Took my Grand-Kids who were in town visiting, it was a rainy day and cold, so this fit the bill. It was OK, kids ;liked proabably the first hour, but after that, BORING!. Other kids were left to run wild by their parents, the water areas were a disaster. We were there all of about 2 hours.
