Great Place for kids to visit

Took my 2 sons (4 & 8) to visit this museum. They had a great time! Will definitely come back for another visit in the future.

Wow! Very impressed by all of the hands on fun for the little ones. Some neat inventions that kept my 18 month old granddaughter entertained for some time.

One of the best children's museums we have visited! Lots to see and do. My son especially enjoyed the milking cow, the apple tree, and the art studio! Also, bring a suit and/or towel for your kids...because there is a splash pad outside!

A super fun place for kids who are interested in how things work. Some great hands on experiments and demonstrations. Always some special exhibits going on to keep locals coming back. The imax dome is huge and truly gives you a fully surround experience.

We recently took our 10 month old granddaughter to this children's museum. She enjoyed the farm room which is for the 3 and younger crowd. They have a soft are where she could climb over and thru things. The had a puzzle table just the right for her. She loved playing in the water chute and enjoyed riding the merry... More

Our Granddaughters are 6, 8, and 10 and they loved the Children's Museum of Richmond. We had visited the one in Chesterfield and it doesn't hold a candle to the one near the Science Museum. It had three or four times the number of attractions. The kids wore us out running from attraction to attraction. They had a great time.... More

This was our second visit and kids love it every time. Enter a world of make believe. Kids can play banker, post office, restaurant, ambulance driver, auto mechanic, hospital. Great free craft room.

I was under the impression CMOR (Children's Museum of Richmond) was an actual museum with exhibits. It's really a big playground for younger kids. They have a little town set up for role playing, but in some places the accessories are missing, like the bank has nothing but furniture in it. There is a big art room, I guess that's... More

I brought my niece and nephew (ages 5 and 2) to the Children's Museum downtown for a day of fun. We had to pry them out when it was time to leave. My two year old nephew loved the water table, and my 5 year old niece loved the arts and crafts room. They both loved the jungle gym. The... More

This private museum on Broad St. in Richmond is a wonderful place to spend half a day with your younger children or grandchildren. you name it and you can do it in a TOTALLY hands on place. The toddler area is a mini-farm with lots to touch and platy with. Most of the "animals" on the wall "talk" when buttons... More
