In the last year alone the have had a Piasso exhibit, a Fabrege exhibit and an Egyptian exhibit that included a 3D movie... This is truly a treasure that is enjoyed by many that live in Richmond and also those that visit More

nice mix of exhibits and no fee to visit. they had faberge exhibit as well as a nice art deco furniture exhibit. More

Alas, by virtue of one day, had missed out on the Fabrege eggs exhibit so this visit was a bust; the snotty attitude of the staff did not make it any better More

tis is one of the finest and largest art museums in the united states..open everyday even thanksgiving and Christmas....also open with varying fun activities on thursday and Friday evenings...has amazing collections...and 2 great spots to eat..Amuse restaurant is top notch....the traveling exhibits that come to this museum are world class and attract hundreds of thousands of out of town visitors... More

This museum is so nice now that the renovation are finished. The parking is a breeze to get in and out of. The exhibits are very neat to walk around and view. Great for all ages! More

VMFA is a top notch art museum and is definitely worth a stop when in Richmond. They routinely have exquisite special events such as the Picasso visiting show and Mummies which are fabulous. In addition to these they also have smaller exhibits such as Elvis at 21 a photography exhibit and I recently saw an photography exhibit on street scenes... More
