My daughter graduated with BFA / Communication Arts and now has a great career doing what she loves. She loved her profs, VCU and RVA.

I just spent loads of money sending my daughter through this program, which is very good. Tuition became extremely high after her junior year (30% increase) and more student loan activity, but such is education. The problems she expressed is the need for areas of study to be able to cross-over without limitations. For example, she was a Kinetic Imaging... More

Loved the school, disliked the crime issues, which the school does a great job of protecting the students from, but still.

I am biased. I have two art degrees from VCU School of the Arts. It's competitive and challenging in all the right ways. Just as is any good school. If you're contemplating where to go to art school, Richmond is small enough to feel at home, but it definitely has the urban grit to make you feel the edge. Great... More

What talent! VCU really is one of the top art schools in the country based on the work created by talented young people-- from sculptors, dancers, painters, graphic designers, actors, and musicians. It was a treat to see them perform!

The urban campus is lively, and there are always, always cultural happenings both at the university and within the city of Richmond. While the School of the ARTS is renowned, there are... More

My daughter has been accepted to all the art schools she has applied to including RISD, MICA, SAIC and VCU ARTs. VCU arts has the best facilities we have seen so far. It is also located in the beautiful town of RIchmond, so will be her first choice.

The purpose of our visit was so my daughter could visit the campus and we were very impressed. Everyone we came in contact with was very helpful and it was a really positive experience. She'll be attending this fall.

We have visited the Engineering building for many functions and have always been happy with the facilities. Our child attends this school and we have been very pleased with the education.
