Now, I went on the canal boat tour 3-4 years ago and I've learned alot. I only went because my wife wanted us to go but all in all, very informative about what Richmond was like 100 + years ago.

Took this tour with some college friends. It was a wonderful relief from the heat wave.It has a an awning. Interesting historical facts about Richmond. The water views are always different and better than the land views. Saw some wildlife. Tour guide was engaging. Don.t miss the boat!

Our company had their summer outing on the Canal Cruise so we had a group rate which was very reasonable. Rusty was our tour guide and he was a wealth of knowledge. Not what I expected but included very interesting historical information. The driver was very entertaining and made the ride fun. I'd recommend doing the canal ride but it's not really a "cruise ride". Just a straight up and back ride.
