This is not the best place I can suggest but good place to spend time with kids. They have few reptiles like various snakes, turtles. They have lot of turtles in the lake too. And a aquarium too. So if you have time you can watch them. Kids will enjoy external activities which is available. There is no entry fee... More

Nice and quiet, lots of turtles. Some trails were stroller friendly, some weren't. The decks by the visitor center were neat to be close the the aquatic wildlife.

Fantastic park & free nature center museum, great place to spend an afternoon- plenty of nice play equipment & the nature center has something for everyone. It does get busy during the summer with various camps and day cares having field trips but if you can time it when there is no crowd it's one of the best parks in... More

This nature center is off the beaten path and should be better publicized. It is free and has several things to see. I liked the varied types of live turtles in aquariums inside the building best. We also saw many turtles swimming in the lake when we stood on the porch over the water. My sister walked the path around... More

It's a small place, but it's free. Check out the nature center to see fish, reptiles, and amphibians. The facilities are clean and well kept. The auditorium style seating to see the larger aquarium is a cool place to chill out and let the kids wander for a second. (It's sunken, so they're not going anywhere.) We like the trails... More

Spent the morning here recently and really enjoyed the park. The nature center is small, but there are a lot of live animals to see, and the small aquarium is nice as well. The trails around the park are well-maintained, and there are many great viewpoints around the three lakes where you can see many different turtles swimming and sunning... More

Park was very spacious with a great playground for kids, and some very well maintained picnic areas. There is plenty to do from fishing to hiking.

Young kids especially elementary school goers will love this education center. Informative and interesting. Exhibits are clearly documented and arranged. The park has a huge play area with lots of activities for kids. Lake trial / fishing are quite engaging for couples and adults. For photo enthusiasts scenic lake shore is inspiring during spring / fall seasons.
