A bright and sunny day in April might be the best time to visit Lo Zingaro. Temperatures are not too high, and nature is green and blooming...

Visited for a couple of hours to explore the area, the walk is a little rocky so a sturdy pair of boots would be more suitable than trainers or flats. Stunning scenery of the hills and sea, €3/pp admission, would happily come again.

Visited in February and it was amazing. Warm enough but no tourists. You really feel in touch with nature. Make sure you take plenty of water and some food, as there are no shops! There are so many little beaches to discover so it's better if you ask for a map in the reception. Cost fee only 3 euros and... More

Went in November 2013. Beautiful in every way. Very well maintained and for just a minimal entrance fee. Make sure you take enough food and drink as there are no shops and you'll spend a day there. Easiest way to get there is by renting a car for a couple of days (probably you'll need it for other attractions as... More

This part of the coast is truly beautiful with so many small bays and beaches to explore. We visited in early October and the sea was still very warm to swim but not too many tourists.

My husband walk on the path through the Reserve and said some of the views were stunning. While he we walking we went to the Thermal Spa and swam in the water there. There were lots of older people there and there were treatments available for different ailments.

We took the path along the sea from Scopello. It was beautiful but to be honest we never felt that we were really in the wild nature. There were to many other visitors. Perhaps we should have chosen one of the paths higher up on the mountain ?

Nothing to dislike, go for the amazing views, beautiful beach and clean turquoise water to swim in! The beach is a 2km walk from the car park. The walk is through a wildlife reserve, very picturesque.

We caught the bus from centre of Castellemare. Easy enough and a great bus ride out to the reserve itself. We walked the whole length of the reserve and back (about 15km!!) - mainly because we ran out of water and were desperate to find a shop or tap - at the other end was a mobile shop selling drinks...
