It was a little hard to find and when we did, the dirt roads were torn up and hard to drive on. No one was around to ask questions and it just wasn't that interesting to us.

Diedre, I am so sorry you had a bad experience. There was no one here to welcome you due to the fact that we are closed January and February. We are organizing a new exhibition and updating the gallery and roads. I hope that you will return some day after March 1st, 2016 and give us another chance. More

FYI to all visitors who may not realize the Sculpture Ranch has changed hands over the past year. It is now open Tuesday-Friday 12-6 all month long. Occasionally, as with the heavy rains in October, the gate is closed for safety reasons, but if you call the number you can usually reach someone who will let you take a private... More

Dr Poe, Thank you for your wonderful review. Our hours are actually Wednesday throughSunday from 12pm -6pm It is always a good idea to call after a heavy rain as the trails out here flood easily. Thank you! More

It is only open the first weekend of each month, but it is worth the drive. The galleries change displays whereas the outdoor sculptures are permanent. Visit the galleries first (even the restroom is a work of art) then drive the road to see the large outdoor sculptures. Fascinating.

One trip to the Sculpture Ranch and you will be planning your second trip. It is a few miles of Texas Liveoak trees and dirt roads as you are on a ranch. Then a very large metal hanger structure (the multi helicopter operations center for LBJ on his ranch) and you know you discovered a lost paradise. Inside the hanger... More

One of a kind sculpture ranch has many works that are pleasing to the eye with a relaxed atmosphere. Stop in for a few hours and you will not regret it.

The Art in the Hangar was amazing. The brilliant use of color and lighting was superb. Outside, the sculptures along the roadway and trails were unusual and intriguing.

Who would have guessed that this magnificent place even existed nestled in the beautiful Texas hill country about 5 miles off the beaten path. The name has been changed to The Sculpture Ranch and Galleries.

The museum is a must. Even the restroom is a work of art. The roads around the large, outdoor art are poorly maintained which keeps people from racing through. Everyone should take their time to thoroughly enjoy this outdoor exhibition. Benini no longer owns the property, but it is still open the first Friday, Saturday, and Sunday of the month.... More
