Interesting Art, Interesting Setting

The Art in the Hangar was amazing. The brilliant use of color and lighting was superb. Outside, the sculptures along the roadway and trails were unusual and intriguing.

My three kids ages 3,4,5 & I love it here :-). It's a great place. Hidden, but well worth the drive. We drove around for an hour.

Who would have guessed that this magnificent place even existed nestled in the beautiful Texas hill country about 5 miles off the beaten path. The name has been changed to The Sculpture Ranch and Galleries.

The museum is a must. Even the restroom is a work of art. The roads around the large, outdoor art are poorly maintained which keeps people from racing through. Everyone should take their time to thoroughly enjoy this outdoor exhibition. Benini no longer owns the property, but it is still open the first Friday, Saturday, and Sunday of the month.... More

It would have been a great car tour for us but my Texas son's car over-heated! A lot of stop and go! His car had been repaired because earlier that year, he had hit a deer! Benini has a great eye for sculpture. I saw in the article that they might have moved by now. Benini even talks to visitors... More

You drive around the ranch looking at all the sculptures. This is an unusual and interesting way to view art. The setting is the hill country in Texas which I love. I highly recommnend going to the ranch and visiting the gallery.

So suggested by friends to go visit this ranch and so much to see. You will spend time taking a slow drive around the ranch to see all the sculptures and to the building for indoor sculptures. the Art is free for viewing, we even tried to make a donation and turned down. Don't pass up the unique art at... More

Another person who had just never bothered to check this place out...my mistake, soon to be remedied because I know I'm going to be back every chance I get! The ranch is full of amazing giant outdoor sculptures ---- some a wonder, some wonderful, some wonderfully huge, all just a wonder that they found such a great home in one... More

What a wonderful day! We've passed by this location for 14 years & finally made a special trip jyst to be able to see the sculpture ranch. Wow, it was so much more than we ever expected. You need to hurry so you can enjoy this experience as the Benini's will be moving to a different location in the near... More

I have lived in Texas for 24 years. Apparently, this amazing place has been here for 14 years. I can't believe it took us this long to find it. You simply must go. Even if you just want an interesting hike and could care less about art....this is a great place. And if you do like art, WOW. There is... More
