I lived in Cambridge for two years and was fortunately only a couple blocks from the bike path in Kendall Square. All of my runs were along the bike path. It extends from the Museum of Science in Boston all the way to Watertown! (And actually, my favorite sections were out near Watertown). Also very popular sections are the Esplanade... More

This path goes on for miles and is a great place to run or walk. It is full of bikers, joggers, and walkers, but not over crowded. I think the path is best run when going to the west (fewer street crossings, less crowded the further west you go).

This is just a terrific pathway for running, biking or just walking and enjoying the view. Plenty of room so you never feel crowded. We walked from MIT to Harvard and coudn't get over the view of the city.In the summer, all the boats are out, small sunfish to large boats. If you're lucky you can catch the Coast Guard... More

Take a walk. Ride a bike. Run. If you are a seven year old, climb and run around the playground. Give yourself a lot of time here, a good way to spend some recovery time.

Fine for a bike path, though narrow in places, and bumpy due to roots growing out. My preference would have been to run/walk it, but time did not permit. Beautiful. Especially if you can grab a bike when you're in town and watch all of the Charles/Boston activity!

Nice peaceful place to walk, bike, run, whatever you like. The pathway runs on both sides of the Charles bordering Boston and Cambridge. One of the very good places to visit when in Boston. DO not miss the view from the Boston University Bridge at sunset. The view is awesome as the sun sets behind the river with the Boston... More

This is a beautiful ride along the river. It is especially fun on Sundays in the summer when Cambridge closes Memorial drive to cars so that bikes and walkers have the run of the road. You can ride all the way from Harvard Square to the Science Museum on one side of the river and then cross over and ride... More

There is really nothing like seeing the river by foot or bike (v. car). The footpaths on both sides of the river are jammed during rush hour and weekends, but they are still the best way to see Cambridge and Boston. On Sundays in the summer, Memorial Drive is closed to cars and you'll see kids learning to ride their... More

The path is long enough and goes by the river. There are several road crosses and bridges so not recommended for children biking alone. Not too hot even during the summer because of trees and river. Очень приятная велосипедная прогулка по берегу реки. Пересекает нескоько перекрестков со светафорами.

This is a beautiful and quiet path along the Charles river. Accomidates walkers, joggers, bike riders and water accessible. Geese are every where. Just a pretty spot
