This tour was fun and easy. The tour can be done last minute, as there are tours leaving every 30 minutes. When we visited, it was very alive as all the freshman were settling in! Perfect timing to see the vibe! Our guide was hilarious, and knew just about anything Harvard. Great 90 minutes well spend!

This tour leads you through Harvard Yard. Harvard students lead the tours, and relay interesting anecdotes about the various buildings. It kept the interest of two teenagers (16 and 18)! You don't go into any of the buildings though, just FYI.

I chose the The Hahvard Tour as these are led by students, which meant that as well as learning about the history of Harvard University our guide (Eddie) also told us about the culture of Harvard and what it's like to be a student there, which I found really interesting.

I took the tour on August 7th, 2015. Tours start at Harvard Square. Take the Red Line subway and get off at Harvard. Exit from the Station at Harvard Square. The tour operators greet you as soon as you come out and provide you with a free map of the campus and the neighborhood. Ticket for $10 are purchased at... More

The tour was free and lasted for 2 hours and was very informative. Our guide David P. made it a really enjoyable time and was great with the kids. As a non-native speaker it was easy to understand him because he is very articulate and speaks loudly.

Being first time visitors to Boston, Harvard was on the list to do and it did not disappoint. Grads or current students tell it like it is and Justin put it all into place for us with his group...even singing us a tune after talking about the Widener Library and how it's history is tied to the Titanic. Well worth... More

Our tour guide today was Cormac and he balanced humour, history, sights and information very well. He was polite and made sure everyone was okay and while we waited for others to join during stops he told jokes (although very cheesy :P) to pass the time. Lovely group of people and is worth a visit!

My family and I really enjoyed this tour around Harvard, led by an enthusiastic rising sophomore. I have never been to this area before, so it was a nice introduction to the area. One small glitch - we were told to buy tickets from this book shop that proudly touted that it was run by students. Well, it was not... More

Our tour was led by Oxana, a Harvard undergraduate, and she did a great job showing us around and giving an interesting commentary about the various buildings and about student life at Harvard. Fortunately she had a loud voice, as there were almost 100 people on the tour - it would have been better if they could have divided us... More
