I regret that most of the bookstores in Harvard Square have closed. The Harvard Coop remained an exception but the bookstore part has been taken over by Barnes and Noble. You can still take books to the cafe to browse while sipping coffee which is nice. Staff is very helpful. If you want Harvard memorabilia there is a large selection.... More

Crimson is the name of the game here. Buy your Harvard gear, buy a book from their extensive collection or just hang here and watch the students, parents and visitors get a whiff of the Ivy league. I suggest you buy a sweatshirt or hat with a big H on it and bring it to your town. Your friends will... More

This is unquestionably a very good bookstore, PLUS, it carries all the Harvard-labeled goods you might want to buy --from T-shirts to toothbrushes and then some. And it has a plain coffee shop upstairs, nothing fancy, but with excellent coffee and good cakes. A good and inexpensive place to meet friends, a definite alternative to yet another Starbucks across the... More

Widest selection and truly the place that Harvard faculty, staff and students mostly go for apparel, books and other Harvard merchandise.

The Harvard Cooperative Society-The Coop- is simply a well stocked Harvard bookstore. It is the place to go for those seeking t shirts and other Harvard stuff.

I found some great Harvard products at this place together with a few books to read on the way back to Europe. Visit this place for that special Harvard souvenir

I wanted some Harvard University souvenirs and was directed here. And they have everything Harvard you can imagine. I completed my family Christmas shopping here.

This is all right, but not my favorite book store in the square. Selection is okay and typical. Cafe is pricey (as are Harvard souvenirs). For books, I much prefer Harvard Book Store (down the street on Mass Ave) or Raven. Harvard COOP feels somehow more corporate and stale.

3 buildings chalk full of everything Harvard! I can always order online, but it's more fun to walk the store.
