We stayed on the campsite adjacent to the lake, spectacular scenery, the lake is well worth a visit. It's more off the beaten track, so quieter than the more popular lakes

Was very pleasant overall the prices to rent ghe boats were very cheap inly 10 euro for an hour. The lake itself isnt really duitable with young kids as all stones on the shore no sand.

I was curious to see the lake as I had read so much. I really enjoyed our visit to Bracciano, but those with clean water standards will not find it up to par. I think it just depends what you are used to, and perhaps the area of the lake? In the Bracciano area it was quite dirty along the... More

Quiet, picturesque, relaxing beach, good food, water sports, an amazing day out, good gelati, a most interesting day out for young and old. The lake is very clear with some sitting areas by the side and lots of food providers.

I lovad the clean fresh water but there was some rubbish on the shore. We bought ice creams in a restaurant nearby.

Just returned from a trip to this area of Italy. There are 3 main towns around the lake : Bracciano , Trevignano Romano & Anguillara . It's an idea place for swimming or simply lazing around as the water is crystal clear & motor boats are banned. There are some beautiful restaurants & ice cream stores located right by the... More

We spent a day here during our travels of Bracciano/Rome. This lake is huge, with incredibly clear waters (not freezing, but lukewarm) and ducks bobbing all over the place. My husband liked the black volcanic sand. Very peaceful, we found a quiet corner between two boats away from the main hubbub of families etc. Plenty of places to eat and... More

We spent a couple of hours walking along the lake shores enjoying the stunning views. Plenty of activities for families, or you can just simply enjoy the peace, tranquility and beauty of the lake. You can sunbathe and swim, take a pedalo out onto the water or enjoy a pizza, pasta or gelato from the multitude of eateries around the... More

We visited Bracciano for the second time this year. The lake is a walk down hill from the main town, and will probably take 20 or so minutes. Its nice to walk along by the side of the lake, and the waters are very clean, and when I went on for a swim, quite warm! There were lots of families... More
