This is such a great way to get refreshed after the flight to Iceland. We headed straight there from the airport - it was very relaxing and invigorating at the same time. Just like a hot tub lake. You will have to shower before you go in but there are private shower stalls and after a flight, who doesn't need... More

On the way to Amsterdam for a river cruise, we flew Iceland Air from JFK with a stopover in Reykjavik. Iceland Air allows up to a 7 day layover at no additional cost to the traveler. Hey! Why not take advantage of a "free" trip to Iceland?? I had gone to a geothermal pool in Northern Iceland and I really... More

The Blue Lagoon was absolutely amazing! The changing rooms are really modern and clean. To keep the lagoon as clean as possible they do encourage that you shower nude, however there are cubicals to shower in. Then you go to the lagoon itself, which is body temperature and very blue! You can smell the sulfur of the geo thermal energy... More

Blue Lagoon is wonderful. We stopped off after arriving at the airport and picking up our hire car on our way to Reykjavik. The facilities are very good with excellent changing rooms.Swimming in the warm (at times very) waters is an amazing experience. The temperature was around 7-10 degrees but the water was about 38-40 degrees so don't be afraid of... More

It's about 5 degrees and your sitting in this nice turquoise blue water that it 38 degrees! Its amazing, I haven't seen anything like this before. The whole experience is great and well worth the 30 euros they charge. More

This is the way to enjoy the Lagoon. We stayed at the end of April 2012. They have their own lagoon which is open to guests who are staying twice a day for 2 hours at a time. The best is at night soaking and then going to bed after for a fabulous nights sleep. Rooms are really nice and... More

Awesome experience! A must do thing when in Iceland. A bit pricey! We visited it when there was a strong, cold north wind, so our body was warm while our hair froze, but what a thrill! We recomend getting a robe as well as a towel if you are there in cool weather. The restaurant was over-rated with pricey fast... More

Every Iceland brochure or website we read before going to Iceland said a visit to the Blue Lagoon was a must. Having now been to Blue Lagoon, I do agree! I don't think you'll ever get another experience quite like this. It was pricey but seriously, if you're going to visit Iceland, another $129 US is worth it to see... More

I had a great time here, the water was pretty warm, I felt very relaxed. It's pricey, so , yeah, that part sucks. But overall I thought the scenery was fantastic, the water felt great, I had a lovely time. I wouldn't rule out again. More

Well, we went here on new year's day, along with virtually everyone else. The place was very crowded, and many of the packages were sold out (they had no bathrobes, and they even said they were concerned about running out of towels)... but still it was possible to find areas of tranquility in the lagoon. Not exactly communing in solitude... More
