This museum is relatively new so the movies are up to date. I did not learn a lot of new things about Lincoln having read several books. I thought the cartoon section to be the most interesting.

We enjoyed the museum, especially the movies. (Ghosts of the Library was our favorite.) My younger kids loved the big play room in the museum. All of the exhibits were educational and very well done. The people that work there were wonderful. I wish there had been a little more to the museum, but what is there is fantastic.

I liked this "museum". It's kind of Disney like in that it's very commercial, you're funnelled in one end and out the other, and you exit through the gift shop BUT we had a very limited amount of time and were able to work our way at a steady pace and learn and see a LOT. Also, this museum has... More

We spent several hours in the Museum, which is right next to the Library. There were many wonderful touches in this museum including: two movie presentations, actual artifacts, lots of docents to answer questions and present information, and thoughtful, accurate historical information presenting various views of the time. the was a nice gift shop with a good book selection, a... The museum wasn't quite a large as we expected, but the exhibits and films were great. Our kids loved the one on Lincoln's life (although be warned that there are loud sounds and chair bumps that scared our youngest a little), and Ghosts of the Library was a lot of fun. You could spend hours and hours here if you... More

This museum has it all! History mixed with entertainment. Our family absolutely loved the high quality, state of the art video presentations complete with holographic special effects. They were captivating while still educating the audience. You will leave excited to tell all your friends about what you learned and saw. It is a great place to start before heading to... More

Very friendly staff and the museum is fantastic. A little bit Disney World, a lot of history. The usage of holograms in a couple of the theater presentations is clever and fun. No photos allowed in the display areas. The most amazing exhibit to me was to see one of Lincoln's top hats! Behind glass, of course, but there were... More

This relatively new museum is really fantastic. The white house and log cabin facades lead you into very large and comprehensive displays. Not much for a nonresearcher to see/do at the library, but an impressive building nevertheless.

The Presidential Museum is very different than the other Presidential museums. This one is all visual, quite impressive. For those who don't like history or museum, this one would be good for them. There were 3 theatres while I was there and each one is short and interesting. The admission is $12 for adult. Search the internet for coupons before... More

Visited the museum for the first time. Felt it was very good with telling the story of Lincoln and details about his family. Like the items that people donated that actually belonged to Abraham Lincoln. Also liked the section of the museum with the civil war artifacts and what role other people played in the war. Good attraction to see... More
