The café is wonderful and welcoming with great food and amazing views of the ocean and mountains. The love which the owner has put into designing the café and rooms is clear for all to see, nothing is too much trouble for her and her family. All is beautiful and comfortable, what more could you ask!

We stayed at Blomasterid in the middle of June, 2014. The place and the front of the house/shop are so beautiful and inviting. we stayed only few hour in Borgarnes but this place is maybe the most attractive point in Borgarnes.. I stumbled upon this wonderful B&B when I was caught in a raging gale wind/rain storm and had plans to camp further north on Snaefellnes. Instead, I spent the two most wonderful nights at Blomasetrid and ate the most delicious chicken pie and chocolate cake.
