We went to see "A Christmas Story" with our family while visiting here for Christmas. I really didn't know what to expect. The theater itself is worth a trip. It was originally built in the 1920's, very ornate. The production was absolutely fabulous! Some of the actors were students in their theater program. We were all very impressed. At intermission... One of the best experiences in Omaha. The theater building itself is a treasure, a 1920's vaudeville and movie palace. A done up in a Moorish fantasy under a virtual starlit vault. This is a great place to take the kids for live theatre! Many of the productons are based on the books my kids have read so they are already familiar with the story and are excited to go! The season membership is a really good deal and makes going to all of the shows really affordable.
