Just went to another performance at The Holland in downtown Omaha. What a wonderful venue and what a wonderful symphony. Omaha's symphony can compete with any other US city's orchestra. Just like the big-name orchestras, Omaha's musicians have studied all over the World, yet congegrate here, a "best kept secret" of a town (and those of us who live here... More

We had great seats, right in the center, 3 rows back in the orchestra section. Wasn't expecting a story, but the songs were skillfully woven into the narrative. Grade A performance by the cast, especially Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins. Orpheum Theater is a great venue, with spectacular décor, and very attentive and friendly customer service.

Saw the musical production of "Buddy the Elf". Wonderful show, never a dull moment. The Orpheum is a beautiful place to just simply visit. I am sure there is much history to be learned there! I wonder how many famous names have played the Omaha Orpheum?? The only complaint I would have is the seating. I am quite sure there... More

Not happy with Omaha Performing Arts. They recently held a 'Buddy Elf' Ugly Christmas sweater contest. 2 Entrees clobbered everyone but neither won because they had 'irregular' vote totals. So they decided to give the free tickets to the 3 place finish. No explanation, no interviews, very unprofessional. What a scam!

Beautiful venue small enough for a somewhat intimate experience, but large enough to draw major artists. Love Zinc downstairs, but ushers were everywhere. Their constant presence was a little overwhelming and distracting. Overall, you should experience the center- acoustics are amazing and the simplicity of design does not distract from the performance.

The theater is magnificent!! You are even allowed to take pictures when you get in the lobby. Cold drinks are for sale there and the Celtic Women Concert we saw was so awesome!!! We stayed at the Magnolia Hotel which was within walking distance of the theater.

You cannot go wrong going to a performance at either the beautiful Orpheum or the modern Holland. They bring in such great acts and you have to keep on top of the schedule since it does get updated. We have never gone to the Club inside of the Holland but would like to one day. Smaller, casual venue usually jazz.

We purchased season tickets this past year and attended 4 different performances. Two were at the Orpheum and two at the Holland Center. All performances were excellent. The Orpheum is a beautiful old building. I thoroughly enjoy looking at the intricate details all through the theater. The one negative in my opinion is parking. Allow yourself a little extra time... We have attended several shows over the past several years and they were all very enjoyable (except "Cats" which bored me to sleep). The Orpheum Theater is a great modernized old theater and the Holland Performing Arts Center is wonderful. You will not be disappointed.
