We have been attending great concerts and performances at the Orpheum since the 1970's. They have continued to keep this gem in great shape. Hints: 1) There are restrooms in the lowest level, utilize these when the lines are long on the main floor. 2)The coat check is located downstairs. While it has a large seating capacity, it provides the... More

Over the years we have been to the Orpheum Theatre for several shows, Mannheim Steamroller Christmas, The Producers, and tonight The Blue Man Group (thanks to our son for buying Mom tickets for her birthday!) Great venue! Ornate and spacious. A gem in downtown Omaha!

Vaudeville, movies and now Broadway-quality shows highlight the history of Omaha’s Orpheum Theater. The Orpheum opened in 1927. It was home to vaudeville performers during the early days. It became a movie theater in the 1960s. Jerry Lewis was the last known live performer in 1961, before the Orpheum transitioned into a movie house. For the rest of the 1960s... More

Shows at the Orpheum are truly an unforgettable experience. This place has both a beautiful lobby as well as theater area - a phenomenal renovation was done to really give you the sense of seeing a show in the "old days". Seating is situated so there's not a bad POV anywhere. Highly recommend seeing any of the touring Broadway shows... More

We were there for thheir Christam extravaganza 0 a night our bar none. Local and international talent - plus children as young as four on violins made this an eveing to long rmember. Too bad we had not time to sample other events. Don't miss the best theater programs ever between Broadway and LA.

Wife and I saw Wicked, which I would recommend, but I'm reviewing the orpheum not the show I saw. Parking could be a pain. We had to drive around to find a spot on the street because the garage was full. We parked a few blocks away so not a big issue except it was a 2 hour parking meter... More

We attended Wicked at the Orpheum Theater in the Old Market and all I can say is WOW! This was my 3rd Broadway show that I have seen here and they just keep getting better and better! I don't think there is a single bad seat in this venue! Leg room is a little bit cramped, but you soon forget... More

Just went to another performance at The Holland in downtown Omaha. What a wonderful venue and what a wonderful symphony. Omaha's symphony can compete with any other US city's orchestra. Just like the big-name orchestras, Omaha's musicians have studied all over the World, yet congegrate here, a "best kept secret" of a town (and those of us who live here... More
