Shows at the Orpheum are truly an unforgettable experience. This place has both a beautiful lobby as well as theater area - a phenomenal renovation was done to really give you the sense of seeing a show in the "old days". Seating is situated so there's not a bad POV anywhere. Highly recommend seeing any of the touring Broadway shows... More

We were there for thheir Christam extravaganza 0 a night our bar none. Local and international talent - plus children as young as four on violins made this an eveing to long rmember. Too bad we had not time to sample other events. Don't miss the best theater programs ever between Broadway and LA.

Wife and I saw Wicked, which I would recommend, but I'm reviewing the orpheum not the show I saw. Parking could be a pain. We had to drive around to find a spot on the street because the garage was full. We parked a few blocks away so not a big issue except it was a 2 hour parking meter... More

We attended Wicked at the Orpheum Theater in the Old Market and all I can say is WOW! This was my 3rd Broadway show that I have seen here and they just keep getting better and better! I don't think there is a single bad seat in this venue! Leg room is a little bit cramped, but you soon forget... More

Just went to another performance at The Holland in downtown Omaha. What a wonderful venue and what a wonderful symphony. Omaha's symphony can compete with any other US city's orchestra. Just like the big-name orchestras, Omaha's musicians have studied all over the World, yet congegrate here, a "best kept secret" of a town (and those of us who live here... More

We had great seats, right in the center, 3 rows back in the orchestra section. Wasn't expecting a story, but the songs were skillfully woven into the narrative. Grade A performance by the cast, especially Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins. Orpheum Theater is a great venue, with spectacular décor, and very attentive and friendly customer service.

Saw the musical production of "Buddy the Elf". Wonderful show, never a dull moment. The Orpheum is a beautiful place to just simply visit. I am sure there is much history to be learned there! I wonder how many famous names have played the Omaha Orpheum?? The only complaint I would have is the seating. I am quite sure there... More

Not happy with Omaha Performing Arts. They recently held a 'Buddy Elf' Ugly Christmas sweater contest. 2 Entrees clobbered everyone but neither won because they had 'irregular' vote totals. So they decided to give the free tickets to the 3 place finish. No explanation, no interviews, very unprofessional. What a scam!

Beautiful venue small enough for a somewhat intimate experience, but large enough to draw major artists. Love Zinc downstairs, but ushers were everywhere. Their constant presence was a little overwhelming and distracting. Overall, you should experience the center- acoustics are amazing and the simplicity of design does not distract from the performance.
