Very nice. The wife is a flower enthusiast and she was very impressed. The next time we return we will ride the tram to get a layout of the facility. If you are a model train fan they gave a large layout intertwined between the trees and flowers. The trestles are made from tree branches. No premodern stuff here. Well... More

Absolutely loved these gardens. Though a portion was under construction, there were plenty of acres to wander through. A highlight for us was the Model Train garden. Both adults and kids could have watched the trains weave through stone tunnels and across bridges made of twigs for hours. The construction of the buildings was stunning. (Be sure to pick up... More

Maybe we are spoiled by having one of the premier gardens back home in Chicago, but Lauritzen just seemed to be something of a work in progress. The entry is certainly nice, with a shop neatly integrated into the airy visitor's center. We were given a map of the 100-acre property but I would have liked to see more signage... More

The gardens are so beautiful and well kept.No matter what time of year we have gone it is lovely. Had to ride the tram as difficult for us to walk this trip. Didn't quite get to see everything up close except for the rose garden but it was a relaxing and enjoyable visit.

Plan to stop here for at least an hour of enjoyment. Outstanding rest stop among great beauty. Helpful to soothing oneself after many hours in the car. They close at 5, and lock the doors, so keep that in mind. One of my favs in the area.

The flora is updated and very beautiful. I saw quite a few examples of local wildlife such as deer and birds which were quite content to let me stare and even stared back.

Given the youth of these gardens, they were very lovely. July is not the best month in the midwest to be visiting gardens, so it was no surprise that the rose garden looked a little tired, and the Victorian Garden looked hot and dry. My group was composed of Master Gardeners, so we understood the conditions ... and the fact... More

You must Visit this beautiful botanical paradise with its varied and creative gardens. Take the tram if unable to walk the whole place as it is quite large. Nice gift shop too.

One of my favorite places we visited in Omaha, as a fan of gardens. It was serene and beautiful. I particularly enjoyed the bird sanctuary. As we wandered further, near the herb garden we came across several wild turkeys.

It would have been nice to see the new conservatory not yet finished but otherwise lovely setup. Really liked the rose garden and children's garden.
