Now you have an even bigger reason to go in the winter! Gorgeous conservatory just opened! Wonderfu music and quiet atomoshere. But there is a lot to see in the garden even in the winter too! And the Lobby area aways has a nice display for each season, the poinsetta tree in Dec is lovely. Nice place to stop and... More

This is a wonder-filled place to visit. There plentiful gardens on the grounds and lots of walking paths to take them in. Also, there is a brand new conservatory that will provide many, many moments of wonder during all twelve months of the year. I suspect that it will be popular during the winter months in Omaha, when there may... More

We were pleasantly surprised by this gem in our city. The new indoor gardens are incredible and the walking paths outside are peaceful,, even though you are so close to the interstate. This would be a great place to have a wedding or vow renewal, so many possibilities. We had to get a year membership just so we would continue... More

They just opened a new "sun room" with tropical plants. It is really a show piece for their Botanical Garden. We had a sunny day in November to stroll the grounds. Most of the summer flowers were gone but with the changing of the seasons the trees were lovely. Enjoyed seeing a number of wild turkeys roaming the grounds. It's... More

Great arboretum. It was a nice day in early October when we visited an we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. There are a wide variety of settings, gardens, styles in this park - something for everyone, even a model train town for the little ones. Would love to go back in different times if the year to really see what this... More

Lauritzen Gardens has recently had some amazing additions. It is a truly beautiful place to spend an afternoon. The "gardens under glass" is breathtaking and especially nice in the cold weather.

Don't bring a camera. A gaggle of old ladies will accost you and demand that you pay extra as a "professional". The staff is not just unfriendly, they are hostile. The trains at the entrance are really cool. The conservatory is pretty amazing. The gardens are very nice but be prepared to walk some pretty steep walkways.

Lauritzen Gardens is Omaha's Botanical Gardens. Its great location is just over the bridge on I 80, and close to all the attractions such as the Zoo, Old Market, etc. Very nice gardens, including a train garden, Victorian and rose gardens. But the latest addition is a new $20 million Conservatory. It's a huge greenhouse on 4 levels, filled with... More

We went this last weekend to see the newly opened conservatory, which was very impressive. I am so impressed every year with the newly added exhibits that go up. This is a must see for anyone coming to visit Omaha!

We had a very pleasant visit Gardens today. The fall colors were on full display and the new "under glass" conservatory is spectacular! A great place to spend a few hours on a beautiful autumn day.
