I have been to Lauritzen Gardnes a few times. The first time was in early spring and the help desk was not very helpful. Luckily I returned last summer with my daughter. The outdoor area is huge and provides hours of walking and family nature time. The plant diversity is very extensive and well taken care of. Many great trees... More

Love seeing all the spring flowers and the poinsettia show in the winter. Just a beautiful relaxing way to spend a day. The trains are a treat for the little ones. They also offer great classes for children.

Had a few hours to waste before picking my son up from Creighton visit, decided to give it a shot. Was surprised by the beauty and diversity of the gardens. Admittedly, I am a bit of a plant nut, but I will come back to Omaha just to visit this garden during the upcoming summer season. Will even buy membership... More

Very nice botanical garden. Even in the winter with half of the gardens disturbed by construction of some sort and the construction of the new conservatory (greenhouse), it was still interesting to see the indoor tropical garden and art exhibits.

I've only been here one time, for a Mother's Day Brunch!!! The cost was very reasonable and the food catered by Hap Abram was excellent !! Not to mention the beautiful atmosphere and the glorious smell of the gardens. There are many seats by windows that overlook the gardens. Also this affair was family friendly.

Don't miss the poinsettias during the Christmas season each year. I have never seen such a wide variety of a flower that can get a little repetitious in December. It is a great stop any time of year with their wonderful floral displays and all the wonderful planting on the grounds. Even the kids enjoy going.

This is an experience worth repeating. The garden arranges different displays of flowers throughout the four seasons, so it's really worth visiting various times a year. They always have activities and their gift shop is simply adorable. In these colder months it's also nice to see their conservatory and stop by their lovely café for something warm.

We visited Lauritzen Gardens during Christmas break to see the holiday poinsettia show and 20 foot tall poinsettia Christmas tree and it was stunning. Great display of more than 5,000 poinsettias from 26 different varieties. Kids loved the miniature Omaha amid the flowers and the trains weaving through it all and over the bridge. Great display and perfect backdrop for... More
