I had no idea what to expect on my first visit. As a gardener, I just wanted to see the landscape. I loved it. Lots of variety, creativity and even though there is a ton of existing planting a, they have room to expand in the future. Even if you aren't into plants, it a great place for an afternoon... More

For the trains, there is an outdoor display with running trains. Indoors for this event, they had many displays, plus arts and crafts and other activities. A bonus: park your... More

Lauritzen Gardens Botanical Center is small - especially considering the price of admission - $10 per adult. It is basically one room (which had a lovely poinsettia display, complete with very nice model train running through), and one brand new conservatory area. The conservatory is nice - good water features and plants - but not spectacular (IMHO). I am guessing... More

We went to the gardens last week to see the poinsettia display and the new conservatory. It was terrific. We went Sunday morning before an afternoon concert. He strolled the the Conservatory area an marveled at the many levels and water features. The Poinsettia display was the main attraction and it did not disappoint. The highlight was the 20 foot... This was our second time to see the Poinsettia Display at the Gardens. They are so beautiful and worth the trip! Electric trains going in and out of the plants. Love it

after the opening of the new conservatory we visited Lauritzen for the first time and became members. We just visited for the Christmas Poinsettia showing. The new conservatory physically is very impressive. It will be interesting to watch the plants grow to fill it. I must say after seeing comparable facilities around the country I was not impressed with the... More

A warm almost humid atrium with Orchids and lots green. My company had an early holiday dinner in the atrium. The staff was gracious and the surroundings made for a wonderful evening
