Just fabulous. If you like flowers there are tons of them. My wife and I went in June great time for flowers. Lay out of gardens is splendid. Think it was 10.00 fee, well worth it. We just went to a garden in SC. and it was not nearly as wonderful as Lauritzen.

Special day to celebrate sweet corn and native western hemisphere foods. Tasting tables with chocolate, pumpkin seeds, corn and other products were fun,. Folk musician was interesting. Always a great place to visit but even better when there is a special event.

Great place for a nice walk. Gardens well maintained, plants, trees, flowers well-marked. Many areas are accessible for those with disabilities. I would recommend spending the extra money on the trolley ride before walking the garden. It will help explain the layout and the evolution of the gardens. I took my 10 year old, and she also thought the place... More

My disclaimer is that I love every botanical garden that I visit and of course I felt the same about this gem. This midsize garden delivers in diversity while also having an emphasis on Midwestern plants. We did the tram first to get an idea of the layout and then walked the entire garden afterwards. The tram is definitely worth... More

I have been here with my four grandsons, I have been here with my Granddaughter, i've been here with my sisters. The garden seems to always change the first time I went there was trains in the outside part of the garden and that was just wonderful. It's very long very big walk but it's beautiful . when I took... More

Outstanding botanical exhibits in Omaha NE. Great walking paths with diverse vistas. Take the tour to get an overall layout of this extensive garden property.

My husband and I have visited here several times over the years and look forward to seeing what new gardens have been added each time. Our last visit was on a hot, sunny day and we had two children with us. There are shady areas scattered throughout the gardens, but the children were getting pretty wilted by the time we... More

Yes, they do charge admission but you get a botanical center and outdoor gardens all in the same place. The special event was a series of animal sculptures placed in strategic places both inside and out. This is also where you can walk up to the locomotives that you see as you enter Omaha on I-80! Be sure to walk... More

Visited here with the wife as we were passing through Omaha. Read about the gardens and found our way there in a residential neighborhood near the river. The gardens are quite nice as is the conservatory. Be sure to look at the locomotives on the upper overlook. Slightly disappointed ion the relatively small size of the garden.

A nice sized botanical garden. I like all the themes, particularly the railroad that runs through the garden. The conservatory is interesting, there is a great variety of plants available . I also liked the huge mountain that is a replica of a mountain in Japan.
