Beautiful Museum

This hidden jewel of a museum has a wide variety of art, excellent classes for children and has one of the most beautiful and diverse gift shops I have ever seen.

The building, the grounds, the sculptures especially on a bright sunshiny day are a joy to the visitor even before stepping inside. First off, this place is free, so there is no excuse to not check it out. I was surprised by the variety of works of art that were here! Beautiful building. Has a cafe that serves lunch!

Enjoyed visiting the wonderful museum again. Am always awed by the beautiful collection of artworks by famous artists. What a wonderful contribution to the citizens and visitors of Omaha. No charge but contributions accepted. Thank you Omaha.

The Joslyn has an excellent static collection and pulls in some fantastic temporary exhibits. The cost is now free making this an even better deal.

The building is stunning, with red marble outside and lovely huge spaces within. They had a visiting exhibit, American Moderns, from the Brooklyn... More

My wife and I love going to the Joslyn art museum. There is always something new to look at. I have been going to the Joslyn since I was a kid and will take my kids when we get to that point.

The Joslyn has a room in the lower level dedicated to giving kids a hands-on art experience. They can paint on a digital canvas, create stop-action movies, draw a still life with pastels, build an abstract sculpture and more. Or they can curl up and read a book about art. Each station has an example of corresponding art in the... More
