This is a very small museum, but worth the price (free). To take it all in, you need about 1.5 hours. I was here for the two Monets, but they did have a few other impressionists on display. There were about 2 dozen Greek and Roman antiquities and the one Egyptian item was on loan at the time of my... More

Went to see the American Moderns Exhibit. Docent gave an excellent tour and was very knowledgable about modern art and art in general. Really liked her presentation of the 50 paintings on exhibit. She added the little inside things that helped you to understand the artist and what he or she were trying to accomplish. Wonderful exhibit including O'Keefs, Hartleys.... More

I have had an opportunity to visit this museum on a few occasions while in Omaha. Most recently, I did take in the American Moderns special exhibit. It was well displayed in the museum. One of the highlights is the Rembrandt portrait of Derk Van Os. This piece is well displayed allowing visitors to sit and take in the painting.... More

Loved this museum…visited for the "American Masters" exhibit which was very interesting…especially the Georgia O'Keefe paintings. However, I really enjoyed the whole museum. This is a wonderful way to spend a few hours in Omaha. I think children would especially enjoy this museum because it is not overwhelming in size and the collections are accessible.

I thought the selection of art was pretty good and a nice surprise for Omaha We didn't make it to the special exhibit but the rest of the museum was free admittance and was both educational and fun

I love art museums and so do my children. The museum was easy to find has some fantastic art. They had a special exhibit from the Brooklyn Institute. Students get in free. The close at 4 everyday except Tues. It was worth going to.

A great variety of pieces, including many of the masters. Paintings, sculptures and mixed media. Nicely laid out with an extensive permanent collection and an area for featured collections. Very helpful and knowledgeable front desk and a nice gift shop.

How many times do you get to eat a quality meal in a top art gallery? I have done it three times: in Amsterdam in front of the Night Watch; in Madrid in front of Guernica; and now in Omaha in front of a Chihuly glass sculpture. Great way to complete a trifecta..

I am a lover of old architecture and at first sight I knew the interior of this building was going to thrill me and I wasn't disappointed. My wife and I enjoy art with our main interest being in Western, Native American, and American all of which were well represented in the permanent collection. The Chihuly Glass piece was fantastic...
