When I first saw the pink marble mausoleum, I have to admit I snickered a bit but wow is this place impressive. Excellent Renaissance, Orientalist, impressionist and Academic paintings - everything from a Rembrandt to an El Greco to Thomas hart Benton. Really well curated and very accessible!

I don't go as much as I should . So much to do in Omaha. They are always changing and moving exhibits to please visitors new and old. But , parking in all of the downtown area is a turn off for visiting this and other attractions in and near the inner city.

The first thing you notice about this museum is the building itself and steps leading to it are all pink marble. Wonderful exhibits, we were able to see beautiful exhibits from Degas, Monet, Renoir and many others. Well designed. The grounds were also very nice.

Fell in love with Degas' "Little Dancer Aged 14" sculpture here. Great American/Western and Native American art exhibits.

Really great museum, don't forget to check out the garden exhibits as well. What makes it even better, the admission is free! :-)

This is a very good art museum that in years past has doubled in size the atrium area between the two haves in a wonderful area to enjoy.

My second visit to this museum in maybe 5 years. Great Chihuly glass sculptures! Paintings, an awesome and varied collection. The building itself us a work of Art Deco art!! Guards were very friendly and gave some info that was helpful to have. Could've had some more inspired bread/rolls and salads for lunch. Nice gift shop.

One of the best art museums I have ever been to. Wonderful selection from Renoir & Monet to Jackson Pollock. Very strong collections of Western Art and Modern Art. Facility itself is top-notch, and significantly enhances the experience of the art. Outdoor sculpture gardens are solid. If you go to Omaha, don't miss this free gem.

The Joslyn is a striking art museum. The art and the architecture are first class as well as unique. Luminaries such as Rembrandt and Monet populate the uniquely designed gallery rooms, and the expansive western art collection rivals the art seen at the Western Art Museum in Cody Wyoming. Bierstadt and Remington populate these halls with large landscapes. There was... More

The museum itself is a beautiful building. The art inside is interesting to look at and there are some real relics within Joslyn's halls. I am not one to oogle at art but this place kept me entertained and it really is a good day out. Best of all is that it's free and there's a nice water feature outside... More
