Generous donors to the Joslyn have made it possible to have this great treasure open to the public without charge. A few special events are still used as fund raisers, but everyone should take the time to visit this great Omaha landmark.

This museum has got to be one of the most beautiful around. World class art and unusual painting and such await you. Have a look you won't be disappointed.

One of the most pleasant museum experiences I've had. We were fortunate to also see the limited time Andy Warhol exhibit along with their impressive permanent collection. A place not to miss if in Omaha and looking for a GREAT art experience.

I have visited the Joslyn on several occasions & hold the museum in high regards. I believe they offer wonderful exhibits - so much so that I take a group of students to experience what the Joslyn has to offer each year. The Joslyn & the Omaha Symphony pair up to offer a wonderful educational program entitled "Celebrate Creativity" every... More

Not a huge art museum, but given the size of Omaha, it has a tremendous array of regions, periods, media etc. They have clearly made a decided effort to acquire and display important pieces for all tastes and interests. Plus it is Free!!

We love the Joslyn Art Museum. We have visited many times and find it to be just the right size for an enjoyable afternoon. Their western art section is most interesting.

The Joslyn is housed in a beautiful stone building on the western edge of downtown Omaha. The collection is diverse, with a strong collection of American western art, but also representing European masters, including a noteworthy Rembrandt. Joslyn also attracts some very interesting temporary exhibits--including, in recent times, an outstanding collection of impressionists and an exhibition of Warhol and other... More

This was our 1st time at this museum, what a treat. If you like the story of the museum, you should check out the Joslyn Castle in Omaha. Now that is a beautiful piece of art.

Has a nice varied art collection. A little bit of everything. Some classics and some modern. it's a good place to look at some art, daydream, and have some coffee or food. and just relax for awhile. Admission is free, except special exhibits (which are free for members; and membership is relatively inexpensive.) Great for families, as there are activities... More
