This is a great place for young kids to explore. We took our grand kids here and enjoyed the place almost as much as the kids. There are many hands on things to do. It is a little loud but that is OK. The thing I liked best is that is wasn't a place where you had to spend a... More

Last Friday, three adults courageously took four kids, between the ages of 2 & 4, to the Omaha Children's Museum. The areas are fairly compartmentalized, so, even though we were outnumbered, we played a zone defense and were able to keep them in check fairly easily. No matter what area we were in, there was something to do, regardless of... More

Overall the museum is great!! We've been 4 years straight but this past year there was a power outage. We did get frees passes for a future visit. Unfortunately it will be next August.

,,, take the kids. Lots of hands on activities including crafts for all ages. I take the grandchildren there about twice a month and they never get tired of it.

My only complaint about the place was the long line to get in, and the cost of entrance. Besides that the place was amazing! There are multiple areas for kids to play, climb, explore, search, try new things, and discover. We easily spent 3 hours here! I would recommend checking out the traveling exhibits to make sure it is something... More

Our two grandkids (5 yrs and 20 mos) loved the Omaha Children's Museum. Lots of variety and experiences. It is apparently a local custom to charge a low admission and then charge for nearly every additional feature once inside. The Dinosaur Dig exhibit was extra at the door which we gladly paid. Located next to this exhibit was a little... More

Maybe because it was a rainy day in august this place was packed! I had trouble keeping track of my kids due to crowds. Get there early for parking and watch out.. people parked very randomly. Depending on where you were parked it was very hard to back out without hitting an illegally parked car. Great exhibits inside. We spent... More

This was a very nice Children's Museum. We even noticed outside that the businesses around it were geared toward children: a hot dog restaurant, an ice cream shop, a toy store, etc. Too bad our children were a little old for it. They are 8 & 9, and I would say that the cut off for this particular children's museum... More

This place is a very well run, well organized suprise in the 'little' town of Omaha, The way the place is laid out makes it easy to corral kids, and keep them interested in multiple very different dynamic areas.
