The young children in your family will love the Omaha Children's museum. Parking is sometimes an issue, but the exhibits are fun and exciting for the kids. The carousel costs extra, but is placed in the building where kids will want to ride. Bring cash...

There is a fee, but membership makes it possible to go frequently. Our grand kids love the many interactive displays, and there's always something new to see and learn. . . .

Wonderful hands on areas for kids to explore and learn. A grocery story, and a fully functional bank with drive up. Several art centers and a beautiful merry go round. The steps leading to the second floor (they also have elevator) are programmed to make sounds as you step on each tread. Reminded me of the movie "Big". One entire... More

Visited the Once Upon A Farm exhibit. So fun! Really liked the educational aspects of the exhibit. Kids can learn about dairy, drive a pedal tractor, and climb up in a HUGE tractor. Great place to have fun and learn about Nebraska farming. The staff is very helpful and friendly.

The Omaha children's museum is a total hands on experience for children. They can paint, perform , shop, and the exhibits are ever changing. A fun learning experience that puts big smiles on childrens face. A MUST see.

We take our grandchildren to the Omaha Children's Museum every time they come to visit. They always enjoy it and there is plenty to interest toddlers thru elementary age groups. Free parking is available adjacent to the museum making it easier if you are dealing with several children. A great choice for a morning or afternoon family outing.

This is a great place for young kids to explore. We took our grand kids here and enjoyed the place almost as much as the kids. There are many hands on things to do. It is a little loud but that is OK. The thing I liked best is that is wasn't a place where you had to spend a... More

Last Friday, three adults courageously took four kids, between the ages of 2 & 4, to the Omaha Children's Museum. The areas are fairly compartmentalized, so, even though we were outnumbered, we played a zone defense and were able to keep them in check fairly easily. No matter what area we were in, there was something to do, regardless of... More

Overall the museum is great!! We've been 4 years straight but this past year there was a power outage. We did get frees passes for a future visit. Unfortunately it will be next August.
