Our three year old had a great time. There were a variety of activities. Hand gel everywhere and staff was visible.

While traveling home from South Dakota to Texas we stopped over in Omaha for a night. We wanted to give the kids some time to run around and burn off energy before making the long trip home. We were lucky to find the Omaha Childrens Museum. This place is awesome! As soon as we walked in we were immediately impressed.... More

This is one of the better children's museum if I been have been to. They have science things, play things, art things and even some shows for the kids. Definitely worth it for kids under the age 10 and even adults. You can spend one hour or five hours here. The reciprocal memberships with science and children's museum throughout the... More

While the OCM is a decent place to take your kids to expel a little energy, I felt that there weren't many things to really stimulate young minds. There's a few theme-related exhibits (auto repair, grocery store, bank, doctor's office, etc.), but I've been to places like the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry, and the Minnesota Children's Museum, and... Visited the museum Sunday, June 29, 2014. We were a part of 7 - 4 adults, 2 teenagers and a 7 year old ( the reason we went). This museum is located near downtown Omaha so parking is a problem. Had owe visited during the week or on a Saturday I do not believe we would have found a place... More

We love the time that we spend at the museum! They're always changing things up to keep it interesting. Even my 12 year old boy has fun!

My kids loved visiting on our recent vacation. There is so much to do and we easily filled 5 hours here.

I have two children, my daughter is 6 and my son is 3. They would have stayed all day if I let them. Their two favorite activities: the ball room, where there are small plastic balls EVERYWHERE and pipes with air flowing through them. The kids put the balls in one place and see what type of reaction occurs. Their... More

Our grandson's 4 and 2 had a blast! Be sure to get a bucket to keep a lot of balls in, because you will need one! Fun to watch them run around and watching the balls go through all the tubes. Interesting presentation on bubbles too.

We have lived in the Omaha area for several years and have 5 children 10 and under. OCM is a consistent hit with all the kids every time we visit. The staff is helpful and friendly. The family membership is great; they don't penalize you for having large families. Love OCM!
