My family took this ride and had a fun time. We took the sightseeing tour which was about an hour long, this was the perfect length for our antsy preteen and teen girls. The cruise was not all that elaborate but was something different to do and the boat captain tour guide provided interesting historical facts along the way. When... More

I have attempted to take this boat cruise a total of three times over the past two weeks. Haven't been able to take it yet as each time there is a "problem" with the engines. Staff are friendly however it appears that they use the cruise as a loss lead. They make the customers wait for hours before telling them... More

We had so much fun on the River City Star! A scenic hour trip down the Missouri River made for a fun family day. We sat on both decks and enjoyed the beautiful scenery and fun atmosphere on board. We especially enjoyed traveling underneath the pedestrian bridge in Omaha - the top deck afforded us a great view of the... More

My boyfriend and I went at sunset, and it was really beautiful! You can drink, sit and feel the breeze, music plays! Its not too romantic, but it was still worth going and seeing the view, plus we got amazing pictures of the city skyline! Don't expect anyone to talk over the intercom about what you see along the river,... More

Let me start with the good- the woman at the front desk was very very nice- Now the rest...total waste of my $61 for me and the 3 children. I was told the boat ride was informative- not at all. No one even speaks over any loud speaker, telling you that you are taking off, about a landmark, docking, nothing.... More

Great view, breeze and interactive educational experience!. The female Park Ranger had great pictures and lots of historical knowledge. Great Captain was fun and knowledgable as well (he even let the children blow the horn)!!. The ladies (Tammie and Tara) at the check in desk made you feel at home and were both friendly and fun as well.

I took the fireworks cruise on July 3rd to celebrate a friend’s 60th birthday and was shocked at what I experienced! At one point I was even afraid for my safety! The staff on the boat consisted of an elderly captain, one “first mate” and two bartenders (one male, one female). The nightmare started when we first boarded and found... More

We rented the boat for a business group tour with "food" and bar provided. Staff were attentive and nice but this attraction could have so much more potential. Very little information about the history of the river or anything was shared. no info on wildlife, nada. Ride is short and viewscape is underwhelming. Food served was sub par at best.... More

We took the hour-long sightseeing tour, arriving the required 30 minutes early for boarding. These have limited availability, so you'll have to plan ahead if you want to do it. We reserved online and had no trouble picking up our tickets. They have some snacks on board, and the kids can go visit the captain and maybe blow the horn.... More

We really enjoyed our sightseeing cruise on the riverboat! The weather was perfect for a trip down the river and we really enjoyed the view! A DNR person was aboard and told us about the history of Lewis & Clark's journey through the area. It was very hard to hear her, however. I would have enjoyed more light music playing... More
