Had a beautiful day to go on the cruise. Calm waters and sunny. We learned Lots of historical and area information while on the cruise. It left and returned on time. A nice short drive from the strip to the lake. Reasonable price. Nice view of the Dam and bridge during the cruise. Had a sandwich which tasted very good.

I had high hopes for this cruise but was fairly disappointed. The public address system didn't work well inside the cabins and so we got to sit outside with the smokers to listen. It was a great way to see Hoover Dam but far less interesting than we had expected.

This is a nice way to see Lake Mead and the Hoover Dam. Fun, relaxing, informative and not too pricey. You can even renew your vows on board with the Captain and sip champagne! They also usually let people, kids especially, come into the cabin to take pics with the Captain!

Tried to make a reservation by calling the local number the it before and got a recording. Called twice after 9:00 am (which was normal business hours and heard a recording both time and was advised to book on-line which was unsuccessful the night before. So our party of four drove to the marina only to find that the cruise... More

A few years ago my wife and I took a cruise on Lake Mead Cruises, and enjoyed the experience, This weekend we took another cruise on the Desert Princess of Lake Mead Cruises, and again it was a very nice experience. The weather was bright, sunny, and the temperature pleasant, but the winds were in the 15-20 knot range. Even... More

I have been to this place during our visit to Grand Canyon from Vegas. The Desert Princess takes you around the Lake Mead. The sceneries are Spectacular and truly an eye feast. The cruise goes around the beautiful lake up to the Hoover Dam. The commentary on the boat about nature and how the lake was formed is informational. Not... More

To see Lake Mead from Hoover Dam or drive by is spectacular, but you have to see it from the water. Beautiful 2 hour cruise and narrated. Located along the marina..feed the fish popcorn, shop in the store have a bite to eat. Although under construction, it is a must in Las Vegas..also take the scenic 3 hour ride along... More

Me and my husband have been laughing our whole vacation about how awful this cruise was. It took 1.5 hours to go about 2 miles on the water on the ferry paddle boat. It had a prerecorded message that explained some interesting and some really not interesting facts, about Hoover Dam, Lake Mead and the history of the area. I... More

The Desert Princess paddle boat ride takes you around Lake Mead for a 90 minute tour. The scenery is beautiful for picture taking. Plus the ride goes to the Hoover dam. This is a pleasant way to spend a relaxing day away from the casinos.

Cruise excellent. Scenery spectacular. Lunch was deli style and very good. This cruise was a joint Hoover Dam Tour, followed by the Lunch Cruise. If you have trouble walking, I would skip the Dam Tour. Lots of lining up and waiting and walking and climbing down a long stairway if escalator is not working, which it wasn't when we did... More
