My fiance and I were fortunate enough to be able to do a Heli-hike in Denali on 8/2/2008 and the experience was the highlight of our entire trip. Four people from our group took the ERA “Denali Glacier Expedition” and it was one of the highlights of our trip. Upon arrival, we were discretely weighed and given glacier boots that enabled us to walk on the glacier. I had always had good service from Era until just recently I had a bad experience. And after talking to other customers I see that I was lucky up untill now. I have learned that what happened to me has happened to others as well. BOTTOM LINE: Era leaves early so that you miss your plane. 15-30 minutes EARLY!! Then... more

We took the 75 minute ERA Helicopter tour in Denali. It was worth every penny, and more. The whole experience was well organized from the pick-up at our hotel through the weighing in, putting on of foot gear, the music on the flight and the trip to the train station to meet our train afterward.
