My Mum and I flew with Rust's and had the time of our lives - a floatplane trip had been on my bucket list for years and it was definitely up there with one of my favourite experiences ever (if not THE favourite), and a trip highlight!!! Our pilot, Curtis, was fantastic! We saw the most incredibly breath-taking scenery -... More

Mark-our flight guide was incredible. He was very informative, telling us the background and history of everything we were seeing etc. in addition he made sure we got beautiful pictures and views from all angles. He even made a test run to make sure conditions were safe before our tour. Overall everyone at rusts was very professional and helpful. Would... More

We went through Rust's Flying Service to book a full-day fly-in fishing trip in mid-August 2015. We were very impressed from start to finish with the whole operation- office staff and pilots were very friendly and experienced, float planes seem to be in good condition, and our day of fishing for silver salmon was spectacular. We had no idea going... More

This was the highlight of my trip to Anchorage! I took the longest tour so that I could see multiple glaciers and land on the lake. It was an incredible experience and the pilot was very knowledgable of the area and pointed lots of sights out to photograph!

I was up in Anchorage on business, and found some free time for an adventure. Rust Flying service offers floatplane flights from Hook Lake, supposedly the busiest seaplane base in the world, which is located adjacent to the Anchorage International Airport. We made our reservations early in the morning, after confirming that the weather was cooperative, and arrived just a... More

What a trip! The chance to fly in a Dehavilland Beaver was cool enough, but to add in all of that Alaskan scenery that led up to the sight of ice fields & Mount Denali was amazing. Our pilot did a good job of narrating what we were seeing - pointing out ice fields and mountain tops. We'd highly recommend... More

We gave my son a trip to see the brown bears for high school graduation. We went out to see the Bears at Brooks River Falls. We just went out for the day, flying from Anchorage, spending the whole day including a lunch that was provided, and coming home quite exhilerated. The flight was put on hold while they waited... We did the 30 min anchorage ride. Awesome experience, beautiful sights and the price was the lowest one around. Our pilot was very knowledgeable about the area and gave a wonderful tour.

I loved it, we had planned a trip with a flying service out of Juneau that got cancelled due to weather, and we were flying out to Anchorage so we could not reschedule. So my genius wife got online, and found Rusts'. Some other things we planned in Juneau got cancelled so we had room in our budget for the... More

What a great start to the day, flying high with Curtis. He kept our son totally entertained by patiently answering his questions. We took the flight for bear viewing, although were a little early being June. A totally professional and reasonably priced service. The planes are well maintained and we felt safe. We can't think them enough for the flight... More
