Our flight see was pretty good due to our pilot Andy. We saw some moose and buffalo. We were scheduled to leave at 2:30. We did not leave until after 4:00. My husband and I were only in Alaska and we were both pretty miffed at wasting our time waiting. They could have been more considerate of our time. The... More

I took one of the float plane trips out of Anchorage. We wanted to go to Prince William Sound but the weather was too rough at the Sound, so we took "Pilot's Choice" and had a great time. You really can't go wrong with a "Flightseeing" tour in Alaska. It's definitely worth the money. Go for it! More

Alaska was our last big family vacation before our oldest son got married. The top request of our three sons was to go flying in a Dehavilland Beaver float plane. Although we would have loved to do the fly in bear viewing, it was not in the budget for a family of 5. Curtis, our pilot, did a great job.... More

We made reservations for the Prince Wiliam Sound Glacier Tour with extension to Columbia Glacier. Unfortunately when I called them that morning, Rust's told me they could not provide the flight that day due to extensive clouds (a near-constant on our overall Alaska trip). They worked with us to reschedule, and we took the trip two days later. Since we... More

Flew with Rust's to Denali. The weather was glorious, the scenery unimaginable, and the bush pilot professional, experienced, and made me (a very anxious flyer) feel very safe and comfortable. I have never experienced anything like this, and though it was pricey, it was well worth every penny and I'd do it again. We didn't stay very long once we... More

We took the Glacier and Wildlife flight. It is hard to describe just how beautiful it is. Our pilot did a great job of showing us the scenery and looking for wildlife. Whenever we found some wildlife, he would circle around so that everyone got to see it. The plane is set up so that everyone has a window seat.... More

We pre booked a flightseeing trip to Mt McKinley/Denali for the one day we had in Anchorage. Given that the weather is changeable at that time of the year, we were so lucky to have a clear morning for a few hours and it was all stations go. We had an extremely experienced "bush" pilot who flew the 3 of... More

Not one bear did I see all day.The lodge is very rustic and basic but has its own world charm about it and be prepared for the drop outhouse not very pleasant in the rain. The float plane... More

Greetings: We are sorry that you did not see a bear either. We do our best to provide an excellent tour and were happy that you enjoyed the flight, lodge meal and the lodge staff. It is very disappointing to not see bears. The Big River Lakes area is quite beautiful and an area that very few people do see;... More
