I flew with Rusts to Brook Falls to photograph Brown bears the first day. It was over two hours each way. The next two days they flew me the Kitna River to fish for Salmon. They picked me up and flew me home each evening. They flight back was always a fun time as they tried to spot wildlife and... More

Top notch planes, a diverse fleet, on time, organized and friendly ground staff! The only thing that exceeded the scenery was the outstanding pilots!! Don was a wealth of information and tailored his narration during our flights to meet each of the four patrons needs. I have flown with a number of small plane companies, domestically and abroad, and this... More

Any trepidation we had was erased as our experienced pilot took us on this magical seaplane adventure. As we flew over Ruth Glacier and neared the planets largest mountain we were truly inspired by the natural beauty of the wilderness. Our plane was a Cessna, our pilot was as knowledgable about our surroundings as he was about aviation. We wore... More

We recently visited Anchorage and made two flights with Rust's. Making our reservations several months prior to the trip, they were helpful and courteous. Our first flight was to be to view Denali, but unfortunately the weather did not allow the flight. We were cautioned about this possibility when we made the reservations and Rust's was able to take us... More

Took the Discover McKinley tour. Obviously its a pricey trip out of Anchorage vs Talkeetna, but on a clear day you can't beat the experience. Our pilot was Justin who was very personable and lived in the state most of his life. Our conversation was a positive part of the experience, but you go for the views. The mountain is... More

Felt very safe, plus the views were fantastic with the pilot pointing out sights. What a great experience to get to a remote fishing lodge.

We must have had the coolest pilot in Alaska, Curtis, Rust's picked us up from the Hotel for a quick trip to their base for check-in, all the staff are friendly & know all the answers to questions. The flight to Katmai was amazing, showing us all the views along the ways. Our pilot stayed with us for the duration... More

We booked the 3 hour Experience Denali package from Rust's so that we could see Mount McKinley, Rust's employees picked us up from our hotel and brought us to Lake Hood in Anchorage. We got checked in and then had time to use the rest room before departing, Definitely use the rest room as there will not be another opportunity... More

Taking a small plane flight over Anchorage was well worth the time and money. Rust's flying service was professional, timely and comfortable. The view of the mountains over Anchorage is not to be missed. The vistas are simply spectacular. In the evening, as the sun lowers in the sky, is a particularly lovely time to go.

Went with three colleagues to Brooks Falls and had an awesome experience, even with bad weather. Saw tons and tons of bears. Curtis was great pilot, who most importantly, played great tunes and had great stories.
