We recently were lucky enough to fly with Pilot Glenn Curtis on two occasions during a recent trip to Alaska. First and foremost, he is an outstanding pilot with impeccable credentials and experience having flown in Alaska for several decades. While skills and safety are everyone's first priority (and Mr. Curtis is first rate in these respects), his personality made... More

Before coming to Alaska, we had done quite a bit of research on flight seeing tours. We had called and emailed numerous places. After alot of thought we decided to go with Rust's. When we called them, they were so friendly and helpful. We booked the McKinley tour and glacier landing over the phone and the transaction was very smooth.... More

I went on 3 tour's with Rust's Flying Service and all were exceptional. The Redoubt Bay Tour was first class from start to finish. I was picked up in a comfortable, clean 12 passenger van and taken to the Rust's Flying Service where I was greeted by a cheerful staff and cozy waiting area. From there, I met our pilot... More

We took an hour and half flight and went into some of the back country of Alaska. Flying over glaciers and mountains gives you a better idea of the vastness and beauty of the 49th state. In addition we did see some mountain goats and if the salmon are running you may get to see some bears. The novelty of... More

We took this trip as part of a cruise ship shore excursion. The pilot and land crew seem knowledgeable and friendly. However, there is good news and bad news. The good news is ... I enjoy flying in the floatplanes. Everyone gets a window seat and headsets. Our flight was smooth from the water take-off to the water landing. The... More

It was very nice flying over the countryside of Alaska. Peter, our pilot, was very nice and was very aware of how we were feeling in the small plane. I think our trip was a little less than the adventure we had hoped it would be. Weather permitted us to fly through a great canyon glacier which was definitely the... More

The Denali/McKinley tour was breathtaking and adventurous. Up close and personal with the mountains, glaciers and the Alaskan terrain is what Rust's promised and delivered! We boarded the small plane on floats (skis in the winter) and started the 40 mins commute to the mountain range. Flying between and around the mountains was beautiful and exciting and nerve-wracking. Our pilot,... More

Rus't flying service has you covered. They have radar everywhere checking the weather. If where you wanted to go is fogged in they will give you other options. They are commited to showing you the best places in Alaska. Pilots are very experienced.
