It was an ok place to stop and look the views of downtown Anchorage (was good), Mt. McKinley (couldn't see it), and Cook Inlet (no biggie). We spent about 5 minutes here and that was plenty.

Wonderful place to see the views of Sleeping Lady, the Alaska Range, and the Inlet. You might even see some wildlife - a moose is possible in the nearby woods, and perhaps a whale out in the water.

It's s surreal experience to have planes fly that low over you! It also has such pretty views. The rocky beach was fun to walk down.

We went there twice during our week trip from Indiana. This point is right at the end of the takeoff runway at the airport, and when the big jets take off they fly right over you! It's amazing! There is a great view of Anchorage from the bluff. Unfortunately we could not see Denali on our visits, but sometimes you... More

Love the view and it's usually best to come here when the sun sets to get a great city view. Popular for photographers who want to photograph the northern lights or the city of Anchorage. I just don't like who people trash it though, very popular place for parties and that sort of crowd.

We parked at Earthquake park and walked the mile or so to Point Woronzof. The view was amazing! Mt McKinley to the left and downtown anchorage to the right. Worth the stop.

This point has tremendous views of Cook Inlet and the Alaska Range. There's a parking lot, and its not far from Earthquake Park. A switchback trail gets you down to the water, not too steep. Great overlook spot.

A big parking lot past the edge of town is a great place to catch a sunset. Also a fun place to take kids who enjoy watching the jets take off and land right overhead.

Be sure to go down on the beach. Beautiful views of the city. Also a cool view of the planes taking off from the airport. Can be loud...but very cool.
