Great place to eat, but the location is pretty "industrial". More

If you love beer, you have to come to this Brewery. There are plenty of good beers in Alaska, but Midnight Sun is truly world class. They especially excel at European style beers. They also serve sandwiches and some other food. The foods pretty good but you come for the beer. They close pretty early, I think at 8pm, and... More

Absolutely a great place to have a beer and snack. My wife and I are locals in our late 20s & very early 30's and always enjoy this place. Come here if you are RAD. More

Excellent fresh unusual beers, great menu complements the beers. Service is slow, even at the beer counter - some staff have a high opinion of themselves, but the beer and food is definitely worth it. More

Great beer. Just wish they sold more down south so I could get it while I'm on vacation. Kodiak nut brown ale is my favorite. midnightsunbrewing.com/ More

If your looking for a brewery that serves haute cuisine, this is not it. But, if you are looking for some really great beers at super cheap prices with original American light meals, do give the Midnight Sun Brewery a try. It's a little hard to find, but don't let that stop you. Also, it is small, so get there... More

Particularly fond of the Kodiak Brown Ale, but there are several others that are also good. About two years ago they moved to a new building in South Anchorage, which is larger and allowed them to install a small brew pub. Good food! More

Not only were the people friendly and very happy to talk about their brews, but the beers themselves were delicious. We can't get them on the East Coast (yet?!?) so we'll just have to make another trip back. We really liked that you could get a 6oz pour of their draft beers, so it was easier to try a few... More
