We hiked a few different trails in the Chugach Forest. Each was pretty with different views and terrain. There's a hike/walk for everybody in the Forest. Beautiful views no matter where you hike. Saw a couple of moose and other wild life.

As with most places in Alaska, this was a spectacular place to visit with endless breathtaking mountains, streams and forests. Always hard to take a bad pic in Alaska and this place is tops on my list to revisit.
What an amazing part of alaska. We had a few days trekking around. This was just one of many amazing experiences.Thank you alaska!

superb scenery, wildlife abounds- brown and black bears, dall sheep, moose (the babies are so cute), well delineated trails, not this trip but in past excellent back country camping- be sure to heed bear precautions

As you enter the Park driving south out of Anchorage on the Seward HWY along side the Turnagain Arm, you'll enjoy mountain views that have often been compared to Switzerland. Also you'll see Beluga whales, Sea Lions, and to the North, you may even see a mountain goat. Check the tide schedule, and you may also be able to see...
