As a resident of Anchorage, I had walked by the downtown loading location for this tour many times, but never thought to jump aboard. In one of my jobs as entertainment reporter for a local television network affiliate, spoke with owner/operator Cyrus and arranged to take the tour with a camera operator to feature on my weekly news segment. I'm... More

we thought this short tour would be a good way to see anchorage, the comentary from the driver-guide was funny and informative, the tour lasted one hour, $20 each was a little high, but it gave us a good tour of city.

Found this tour by accident near the visitors centre and met Cyrus! How entertaining he was and a great face for Anchorage too! We did the tour for a reasonable cost and got a great trip around town. Our driver was a knowledgeable and funny man and even managed to find us a moose and her calf. We went to... More

We stayed in Anchorage before going on the land portion of our land/cruise vacation and took the Trolley Tour as an intro to the city. What a great idea! The "conductor" that sold tickets on the street next to the trolley was friendly and funny without being pushy ( although I had bought tickets on line prior to arrival) We... More

We had a day to spend in Anchorage before leaving on a land/sea tour with Princess. The trolley tour provided a great overview of Anchorage and excellent information related to the earthquake in 1964. Our tour guide was a local resident and did a very nice job mixing history and current info. This was a great way to "get started"... More

While visiting Anchorage for my husband's marathon, we did the 'touristy' thing and took the trolley ride. It was really great! We had a wonderful driver/narrator, who's name was Donna. She did a terrific job of pointing out many areas of interest, giving us a lot of information about the 1964 earthquake and she took us to a wonderful viewing... More

Be sure to book an Anchorage Trolley tour during your visit to Anchorage! Our tour guide, Jamie, was awesome! Really enjoyed hearing stories about her family and Anchorage history. Cyrus, the owner of this company, is a wonderful person who is passionate about providing visitors to Alaska a memorable experience. My mother and 3-year-old daughter had a great time --... More

Upon arriving in Anchorage, my first visit was to the visitors' center. Outside the center, was a trolley waiting to take customers on a $20, 50 min. tour of the city and outlying areas. On the spur of the moment, since I had not rented a vehicle, I hopped aboard and took a pleasant, informative tour which was a great... More

The tour was very nice! The only big negative was involving payment for our tour. Be sure to bring cash along with you because they only accept cash as payment for the tour. We booked our tour by telephone and weren't told that it was cash only. We ended up in a bind when we went to pay for our... More

At 20 buck per person for a 1 hour ride. You can do better by taking the free Ranger guided walk around town just across the street. The Trolley takes you to the same places that the Ranger does. But the BIG bonus with this trolley is that it takes you though some neighborhoods to look at houses and to... More
